My Bissell will not spray water out on the floor but the hand tool works fine. Need some advice on what to check

First check fluid levels. Check Bladder level is full and Heater tank level. Sounds silly but you never know
1. Check the tank seating. If the tanks aren't seated corrected they won't work correctly. Turn off and unplug unit. Remove tanks and reinstall them.
2. Check filter. It may be clogged. This is the "FLOW INDICATOR". Remove the cap and rotor. The filter is just below the rotor and cleans by back flushing. CAUTION: don't drop it down the drain.
3. Check pump belt. Belt can break and cause the problem. Turn off unit. Turn unit back on and check too see the DirtLifter PowerBrush turns. Refer to NOTE below if brush doesn't turn.
4. Reprime pump. Loss of prime can happen if fluid levels are low. Turn unit off for 1 minute then turn unit on and press the trigger.

For all checks it is best to turn unit off and unplug it. NEVER USE ELECTRICITY WITH FLUIDS.
BROKEN BELT: Turn the machine off and unplug it. Move it to a dry area. You will need a flat head screwdriver.
NOTE:
Insert screwdriver into the lower slot of the belt access door to release the lower snap (on left side of unit as you are looking from the front about an inch up behind the adjustment knob) If necessary insert the blade end into the upper slot to release the upper snap. Examine the belt for breakage. If broken, refer to your User Guide for replacement parts. Installation instructions will accompany the replacement.

I noticed my water wasn't staying hot long to shower and wash dishes. The water continually runs out of the relief valve to the outside of house. Had to shut-off water to unit and turn off breaker. What...

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

most likely you have a defective relief valve, since you turned off a breaker, i will assume it is electric. water heater.

Their is a off chance, the the water heater is defective and getting to hot..but the thermal protection should kick in.

I tried to help you. Please help me and Rate/Vote on my response. We take the time to answer your question's. take the time to rate us.Thanks and good luck

What is the energy factor for the mod.82V80-2? I have two seperate 30amp circuits, one for the top element and one for the bottom element, if that changes anything.

http://globalimageserver.com/fetchDocument.aspx?id=052c9e32-ce37-48d7-8990-9e430f23fef3

82V80-2 Energy factor is .86 according to water heater industry self-regulated standards.

Rheem pdf says these water heaters are wired for non-simultaneous operation.
Except special order water heaters.
Non-simultaneous operation uses single 240V circuit as described below.
If your water heater is wired for simultaneous operation, and each element is on a separate circuit, that makes your water heater special order. I would guess the reason is for higher first-hour delivery, which implies rapid heating and would likely affect energy factor.
You might want to get serial number off model and call Rheem for specs on that special order.

Your water heater energy factor may be the same because 'energy efficiency is based on the amount of hot water produced per unit of fuel consumed over a typical day.' This means an aircraft carrier can be considered highly efficient despite overall cost. And naturally the guys making the aircraft carrier are also doing the rating.
http://www.energysavers.gov/your_home/water_heating/index.cfm/mytopic=13000

Non simultaneous operation means the upper thermostat controls heating functions.
240V goes to upper thermostat first.
When water inside tank is cold, thermostat reads temperature through tank wall.
Upper thermostat turns on upper element until top 2/3 of tank reaches thermostat set point.
Once set point is reached, upper thermostat turns off upper element and sends power to lower thermostat and lower element.
Lower thermostat reads temperature through tank wall, and turns on lower element until bottom 1/3 of tank reaches thermostat set point.
As water cools inside tank, lower thermostat is first to respond since hot water rises.
Lower thermostat turns on lower element until tank again reaches set point.
When hot water faucet is turned on, hot water exits top of tank.
At same time, cold water enters bottom of tank through the dip tube.
The heating cycle repeats.
At all times, the electricity flows through upper thermostat. And upper thermostat is powered by one 240V circuit.

With simultaneous operation, the upper and lower thermostats work in same manner.
Except thermostats are wired separately.
Lower thermostat does not wait for upper part of tank to be heated first.
Lower thermostat turns on whenever lower part of tank cools.
The advantage is more hot water available rapidly when demand is high. This is called first hour recovery.

One method for reducing electric consumption is to set lower thermostat so it only turns on during certain times of day. For example Whirlpool Energy Smart operates in this manner and shaves a few bucks off the bill each month. This says that simultaneous operation is not an energy saver, unless that circuit controlling lower thermostat is set on a timer.

The high temp light keeps coming on and the steamer wont work...

Your water probes are probably grounded to the metal insulation. Stick a piece of paper/plastic between the probe and insulation. or buy the boots that cover the tips of the probes. What is happening is the probes use water as a ground and tells the element contact it is full of water when actually its not. So it is over heating.

Starbucks Sirena. lights blink, won't heat.

johnshami had this solution on another post, and it worked for us:
  1. make sure the water in the tank is stone cold -- which is a no brainer since it will not heat h2o unless it's primed.
  2. take off steamer wand cover, turn the steamer knob clockwise till pump starts.
  3. then s*ck (as you would on a straw, with your lips sealed around the end of the steamer wand) the tip of the end of the metal tip hard until pump stops
  4. may need to do it a couple of times. yes this seems crazy, but it works! you are flushing out the vapor lock in the pump.

FRIDGE/FREEZER MODEL: SR42NMB Multi Frost

You have a clogged defrost drain tube. best way is to thaw unit out. Your vents are being blocked so no air flow is pushed down.
