There are links that show you how to repair this issue yourself (but they are not very clear and every thing is very fragile inside the XBOX 360) or you can contact me via email at [email protected] and we can discuss the issue further as I recently repaired my XBOX 360 with the same issues and it works better than when was brand new. It takes and electronics engineer to repair properly.
Thank-you for your rating it is very important to me that I give you an honest answer that assisted you.
in most cases this is an x clamp problem,a flaw I design.when the board heats up,the x clamps holding the gpu and cpu cause the board to flex, thus giving an over heat fault.
I recommend a repair kit including case removal tool, and torx drivers-I ruined the screws taking mine apart with drivers that didn't fit tightly, and had to replace them as well for about 6 dollars.
back to the repair kit, with tools mentioned, also comes with 2 part cleaner to remove old paste from cpu,gpu and both sinks as well as new thermal paste and mounting hardware for the sinks.this kit cost 14.00.
in addition I bought extra sinks for chipsets as well for 6.00.total cost was just over 30 dollars.
repair kit included complete step by step instructions as well as u tube link for video how to instructions.
I performed this repair in July and have had no issues,it fixed graphics issues as well as freeze issues.
I use my xbox every day,and it works better now than when it was new.
keep in mind the board is fragile and can be easily damaged.
if you have disc drive problems there is a better drive available for around 30 dollars.
I hope this information is helpful and best of luck.
Just wanted to add this incase you wanted another that you can have working.....
The beginning of last response I meant XCLAMP default IN design not I design Sorry about the confusion.
