Hi,

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Where to connect router on modem

Your modem should have an rj45 ethernet port. Connect your router with an ethernet cable to the modem. You will need to configure your modem and router to work properly. Once everything is configured, you will be able to share your internet connection through your router to all attached devices. For more information, please provide your exact make and model numbers for your router and modem and always remember, Google is a great source for information. Hope this helps.

The Pre-shared key is used to setup encryption on wireless routers.
The latest strongest encryption methods used is Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA and WPA2).
The wireless router is configured with WAP or WAP2, and the computer's wireless card is configured with the router's WAP or WAP2 encryption. The wireless router will now allow communication with the computer's wireless card, data transmitted between the router and computer is encrypted and therefore protected from unauthorized access.

Configure wrt54g2

IF you mean "File Sharing" as in your own network of PC's on your network, then all you need to do is turn off sharing option within windows. Your router will not set sharing your folders, drives, printers, etc.

Check your windows setting in "Networks", then "Sharing" and set the appropriate options for your needs.

Hope that helps.

Access denied to network to laptop

Disable all firewalls, both on laptop and on computer that shares the printer.

Ensure that laptop and desktop sharing the printer are both on same Domain or Workgroup.

If this does not fix it, call back the Geeks and thell them to acces the router configuration, and configure router internal firewall.

Put both laptop IP and computer sharing printer IP in the range of thrusted IP on router settings.
