Question about HP Compaq nx7010 Notebook

Wireless hi my wireless has disappeared from my notebook.it reappeared briefly last week for a day,now its gone again pls help

Thats not the case in my issue, the button is turned on, but i cant find any wireless networks.. only mobile broadband networks :S

Most laptops these days have a switch or button located either near the keyboard or on the front or sides. It is sometimes easy to knock these and disable the wireless. Have a look for a switch and see if thats the cause.

Let me know if it works or not. If not, please tell me which version of Windows your are using.

Typing cursor disappears


I had this the other week and it was to do with programs starting up using all the pc memory

Click - Start > Run > and type msconfig.

Under the Startup tab, uncheck all unnecessary applications

Good day admin, i just wanted to know why my dvd/cd drive keeps on disappearing and reappearing in "my computer" after migrating from vista to windows 7.i have already tried all the possible...


try a newer drive
its dead now. if it can read CDDA store bought audio discs.
or the data cable port on the mobo end is bad, try another
this laptop can be 10 years old. 1st one was.

what id do is ditch for used 5 year LT.
if that's no fun (is is best)
then upgrade it to newer, DVD or burner, level.

make sure the DVD internal connector has no damage

Toshiba l300, screen has gone to be generally black, but when I toggle between external monitor and laptop screen the laptop screen appears briefly then disappears again


Dear Sir,
This problem indicates that your laptop screen display panel is faulty, so replace it with new one,it will solve your problem.

ok with hp what you can do is go to PC help and tools and driver reinstallation select 802.11b and reinstall it..
