SOURCE: Echo PB 400e backpack blower "Adjust"?

I don't mean to over simplify this, but are you using fresh gas? Gas blowers are extremely ticky when it comes to gas. They like it SUPER fresh. Not fresh from the gas can, fresh from the pump. And while the gas and oil mixture should be right, it can be off a little bit and still run....but fresh gas is essential! Try draining all of the gas out, and then filling up with fresh mix. This is ALWAYS my first step with gas blowers, and it fixes the problem 75% of the time. Also make sure your spark plug is clean. If you are not sure, a new plug couldn't hurt.
Hope this helps!!

SOURCE: echo pb 200 leaf blower want start

Turn on ignition switch, Choke, prime bulb 5 times (or until fuel flows), hold throttle down and pull starter cord sharply until it tries to start, then place choke in mid position pull cord sharply again until it runs then move choke to off when it will allow it.
Also you can go to toro.com then customer care, then manuals and parts then type in model no. and download an owners manual.

SOURCE: i have an echo gas powered leaf blower, model

I just fixed my Echo PB 2100 with the same issue. It would start, run, all throttle openings OK but would not rev-up. It was a dirty/clogged screen on the muffler. Scraped the thick tar off then used Lacquer Thinner to soak it clean. Blower works better than ever now....

Remove the in tank fuel filter and take it apart, the felt Echo uses on the filter clogs quickly. There is still a mesh screen filter in the assembly so make sure you put it all back together and reinstall the fuel filter into the tank.

Need oil/gas ratio for Echo back pack lblower - model PB-400E

Since every engine is different the manufacturer almost always has it printed in the gas cap. It should look like 50:1 or 50/1 (50 parts gas to 1 part oil).

You need to play with the timing adjustment, either on the spark plug, or the gap between the contact and the magneto.
That'll do it ;)
