How to take passenger headlamp out of 328i bmw 2008 so it can be replaced?

2008 328i Passenger headlight assembly removal.

The headlight assembly is held in by 4 "star" bolts (size 25); 2 visible on the top of the assembly, 2 not visible or easily accessible.

The 2 bolts not so visible require that the front half of the wheel well come off and the front bumper or "nose" of the car.... The bumper is what needs to come off, but there are 2 bumper bolts hidden by the wheel well.

The wheel well is held in by 7mm bolts, 2 of which are actually bolted to the bumper on the bottom.

The front bumper is held on with 7mm bolts on the bottom edge, and star bolts, size 25, accessible on the top edge. (Hood open). Here were my steps.

1. Jack up the car on the side you are replacing, remove wheel.
2. Using 7mm socket, remove all the bolts to peel off the front half of the wheel well. With the wheel well out, you can see the 2 other star bolts holding the headlight assembly, but you can only remove one of them... even if you were good enough to get both removed, the headlight assemble will not push out through the bumper.... Keep going with bumper removal.
3. Remove 2, 7mm bolts of the front bumper that are now visible up near the outer edge of the headlight assembly.
4. At this point I removed the bumper's top edge start bolts and bottom edge 7mm bolts about 3/4 of the way across the bumper...
5. The bumper is very flexible and you can now pull it back , reach in, and get that last difficult star bolt on the headlight assembly....
6. Don't forget the one electrical connector....
7. I also recommend testing the new assembly by plugging it in before removing anything

My Samsung Model: RF4287HARS refrigerator stopped DISPENSING ice. It makes it, but only water comes out of both push levers now. I get ZERO help from samsung customer service. There is nothing in

The problem is actually in the dispenser lever. The paddle that you press to dispense ice has a plastic lever/arm that extends behind it (you can't see it, it's up high in the assembly.) This plastic lever presses upwards when you push the paddle and presses into a switch. The switch actuates the ice. This little lever is also the ONLY thing that stops the paddle from continuing to press into the water paddle. So when the lever breaks, it creates your two symptoms - no ice and if you press further, you press the water switch and get water.

You need part# DA97-08519A. This is the lever assembly with the switches. You pry the control panel assembly (the whole digital display above the water/ice dispenser) out by inserting a slim pry bar (I used a pocket knife and didn't damage the finish) on one side and working my way around. The assembly is held in place by five plastic tabs (two on each side and one on the top.) When this is removed, the part# above will be obvious.

Electronic of thermador dwhd94bp not working

Check the door interlock switch. Most often they run the L1 line through the door switch. If shorted, the unit appears dead. Good Luck, Ericf

Is it possible that when I set the dishwasher to normal or automatic, the cycle takes over two hours!! I think it was 136 minutes. MUCH longer than any other dishwasher I've ever had

Hi,
Yes, many dishwashers now will take at least two hours and some more depending on various things that ti checks as it is washing...
With the newer detergents and cooler water temps. the cycles are getting longer...to do the same job...

Needs a new thermastat how do you replace it?

Trace the upper Radiator hose from the radiator back to the engine. The location where that attaches to the motor is actually a cap assembly being held in place with 2 to 3 bolts. Remove that and remove any remaining seal and the Thermostat. Insert the new thermostat and place the new seal in place and replace the Assembly tightening the bolts down. Reconnect the hose and fill the radiator then test run the engine and check for leaks. If nothing leaks your done. Should take about 30 minutes.

Whirlpool dishwasher adp 962 - rinse aid/soap assembly

Hey- Tag should be visible with door open, left side. MOD.   Let's go over replacement instructions. Turn off power The door panel is held together by T20 torx screws. Remove screws, unplug the wires, and take off panel. Door is spring loaded, so place some weight on it to keep it down. Four 1/4" screws hold dispenser in place. Replace and re-assemble. Not too tough- just beware sharp edges! Let me know if this info helps- have more if needed- Thanks- Ed

My soap dispensor won't open during the cycle

at times soap contaminates the electrical connections at the door latch connector and the timer pins.check the wiring Accumulated detergent and other material can interfere with the spring mechanism or halt the pivot action of the door. Use very hot water and a micro-sized brush. You also can use a mix of hot water and vinegar. Most dispensers have a bimetallic strip or switch, attached by screws, which triggers the door release. With the front door panel removed, locate the switch, and push on it gently with a screwdriver until the dispenser door opens. You might simply need to adjust the alignment of the switch.
you will need to open the assembly if you are skilled.if the problem persists after this then Most likely the soap dispenser assembly has to be replaced..hope this helps

I need help to find how to repair steering assembly Part broken

should be an metal arm under the front of the mower with a swivel ball on each end, if the ball has popped out of the socket it sits in you will need a new arm or maybe 2 new ball swivels, the actual balls are held onto the steering arm by a nut which you can undo to remove the old ball and replace it with the new ones
Hope this helps
