Question about Printers & Copiers
My hp laserjet 4250n was working perfect but i have blown dust when i start to use it it gives messege says paper jam in 13.01.00 help me how to fix this problem
According to the manual: "A 13.01.00 error message indicates that the media did not arrive at the pre-feed sensor (PS102) within the specified time." That usually means that the rollers fail to pickup the paper from Tray 2. Usually, cleaning the paper feed roller in the 500 sheet tray should fix this. While blowing out dust, you may have coated this roller with paper dust. A quick way to double check this is to power cycle the printer & try to print from Tray 1, the MP feeder tray (unless Tray1 has rarely or never been used...it might be a little tempermental as well). Regardless, this error is very common & is usually fixed by cleaning. Depending on usage, this roller is considered a customer replacable item (Part # RM1-0037-000CN) with a life expectancy of more than 200,000 pages. There are 3 of that type roller in the printer, but the one in the tray is usually the 1st one to fail. Hope this helps!

13.01 error is sometimes caused by the sensor spring behind tray1 paper pickup that is attached to the paper feed assembly position the spring back to its original position. remove tray 1 assembly to get to the paper feed assembly. look at the detachable sensor with a small spring attached to it.. simply pull the spring back up to give it tension.

In my case, the cause of the 13.01 error was due to the RM1-0036-020 Paper Pick-up roller being accidentally placed backwards during the installation of a maintenance kit (douh). Once identified, reoriented the roller and locked into place - error cleared and happy printer.

The problem is possibly dust on the paper pickup roller. Clean with shellite, dry with cloth & test.
