The F2 fault is displayed about 15 minutes into the cycle. I can complete the cycle by shutting off the power and turning on again. This resumes the current cycle, but when finished the dishwasher is not draining properly. The drain hose is not blocked and the filter is clean. Any suggestions?

F2 error usually is water in bottom pane. A floter is rising and cutting supply and displayin g F2 This us usually due to somthing leaking. Ie the light in machine, gasket is broken and water leaks intu bottom pane. Or something else. I hva experienced this many times, and fixed it. One time i could not locate any problem... emptied bottom pane and started again and no lekage... So have good luck. The 1905 Asko is a realy **** machine. I think i have mended it like 10 times.

I have a 1776 Asko model & it doesn't finish its cycle-code mesage f-2 keeps appearing. Can you help me out.

Hi
F2 is a drain error and dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

My Asko Dishwasher D1976 on the main panel all of the top lights are on and in the display window it flashes F2. The motor is on but nothing else is happening can you help. I have checked that drains are...

Hi

Error F2 in asko dishwashers indicate high water level. This may happen due to plugged drain pump or due to faulty water inlet valve. To resolve the issue remove the back plate and check the drain pump. Disconnect the hoses from the drain pump and clear the lint from the hose and the pump area. Lot of water would be ther when you'll remove the hose from the pump, be ready to collect it. Let it dry and now the dishwasher will work perfectly now.

Hope it helps...

The F2 problem in Asko dishwasher is due to the high water level condition. The reason is bad water pump or a defective water inlet valve. you should try replacing this and your problem will be fixed.

Asko1585 sprayer arm not working

Most likely the circulation pump. On this pump there is mounted a condensator. This will help the pump to get started. If this is broken, it wont circulate the water up to the sprayers.

The drain pump motor on my ASKO model 1375 dishwasher wont stop running

Had a similar scenario on my Asko 1325. I simply removed the unit in preparation to chuck it, but once outside decided to check the inside of the pump/impeller and the electrical connections. Found plastic debris in the pump, and wiggled every electrical connector of its attachment and then re-attached it. Tried the Asko-fiasko outside and it worked.

BTW be prepared for an electrical failure/ meltdown as per the following two photos:e4b01cd.jpg47ce737.jpg

E1 error on LG - LD-4120M

E1 is a common error in the LG Dishwasher range and is usually caused by the failure of the circulation pump and/or the impeller.

The motor and impeller are a complete unit.

Often what happens is the impeller breaks on the motor shaft and doesn't spin, therefore doesn't pump water.

There is a pressure sensor which indicates the lack of pressure and shuts the machine down with the E1 error being displayed.

The lack of pressure can also be from a water leak (as the owners manual suggests) also a controller PCB fault may produce an E1 error, however, the pump problem is extremely common.

Unfortunately, I have had 5 pumps die in 4 years and my dishwasher is only used about 4 times a week.
