Question about HP Compaq nc6320 Notebook
Hi there i was hoping you could help me, i recently brought this laptop secondhand, it had a fresh install of xp on it but no drivers, i installed all the drivers, got everything working, exept it had a start up password that i Knew but wanted it remopved, my mate tried to disable it in the BIOS, but its still there and now i cant get into windows, can only get into the BIOS. I dont know what he changed, i tried reinstalling xp, but it said the hard drive was locked, i changed the sata thing in the Bios, and windows seemed to install alright, until when it had finished and rebooted, no windows, only a black screen with a flashing cursor in top left corner. I can still get into the BIOS but no further, can you please help. I've tried changing a few things in the Bios but nothing sreems to work. Thanks email@example.com
Your hard drive is locked. try to remove the drivelock in the BIOS

No problem. You need to enter The bios, And get the computer to start from The CD/DVD rom drive.
Put windows in the Drive, and you should be able to reboot from there with options to Format et,c.
Any problems Just Ask.
