Make sure you have the heated dry setting selected, use rinse aid at all times, and make sure the unit is getting hot. If it is not, or there is no steam generated when you open the unit after cycle - have a professional diagnose the heating element.

How do replace heating element in dryer

Instructions
Things You'll Need:

* Volt meter
* Clean cloths
* Waste bin
* Replacement fuse (optional)

1. Secure the power cord in the Frigidaire dryer as well as the power outlet if the dryer does not start. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
2. Check the fuse if there is power but no heat, as dryers need two fuses in order to operate properly. Replace the fuse if necessary. Select heated cycles if items are wet and cold after drying.
3. Open the dryer door and slide out the lint screen if the dryer seems to be taking a long time to operate. Clean off the lint and return the lint screen to the unit. Use a volt meter to check the power outlet for proper electricity, which should be 240 volts or more. Clean the exhaust hood outside the home and straighten the exhaust vent if bent.
4. Keep the load size medium and distribute pieces evenly inside the drum if items are wrinkled or damp. Increase drying time or temperature as necessary.
5. Check pockets for hard objects before putting pieces in the dryer, as items can create scratches or chips inside the drum and cause a clinking noise during use.
6. Contact Frigidaire for assistance if the problem continues.

How do I clean the lint out of the system? My cloths aren't drying. It takes 2 cycles to get the cloths dry. I cleaned out the lint trap, but it is still doing it. Is there a web page or instructions...

Hi,

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

My Frigidaire front load washer model no. GLTF2940E, is about 5 years old. It has always worked fine. Last week the spin cycle left some cloths wet and now when I start it, it only allow about 5 seconds...

Sounds like you have faulty water inlet valves. They may not be opening fully. You can test the power to the valves with a voltmeter to see if the power is quitting or if the valves are malfunctioning

Blinking AD

AD is auto dry you may need to clean the sensor or you may have a fauilty one ...Auto Dry Loads dried using the Towels, Heavy Duty, Normal, Perm Press, and Delicates cycles will dry automatically at the selected temperature to the desired dryness level. The dryer uses sensing bars to sense the moisture level of the load as it tumbles through heated air. Auto Dry cycles save time and energy and protect fabrics. The estimated drying time will be displayed for about 5 minutes, then the outside of the display will light up in a circular track to indicate the drying time is automatically being determined by the sensors. When the load has reached the selected dryness level, it will continue to tumble, unheated, during a Cool Down period. This helps reduce wrinkling and makes items easier to handle during unloading. The estimated Cool Down time will be displayed. Drying time varies depending on size and dampness of load and fabric type. If the load is too small or almost dry, the sensing bars may not detect enough moisture to continue the cycle and the cycle may end after a few minutes. Select a Timed Dry setting to dry such loads. Room temperature and humidity, type of installation and electrical voltage or gas pressure can also affect drying time. For cycle selection turn the knob on the front of the dryer control panel. The light will illuminate next to the cycle selected. The following is a brief description for what cycles should be chosen for certain items and materials to be dried.
