Question about Computers & Internet

Open Question

Hello well recently I connected up my CASIO CTK - 710, the problem I had in the first place was that i'm on windows 7 64 bit and there isn't any drivers available but after much searching a found a solution which worked : I done exactly what it said and it did work for a while but then when i installed sibelius 6 I started having problems like BSOD and stdriver64.sys then I messed around the sound drivers, attempted system restores and eventually the error went after I uninstalled some NCH audio software, although this software was never of any use but now I don't understand why but I have the CASIO CTK - 710 installed as a PC-50 driver which originally worked but now it doesn't it's just installed and I keep reinstalling it and sometimes it say's the device can not be started (code 10). When i'm using applications such as cubase and sibelius the midi device just can be found but just doesn't work. :/ Help would much appreciated please :D

please check your hardware version. Once you know the version for your G510 Wireless PCI Adapter then go to D-Link website to download the driver. If you are using version C then you will not find it in the D-Link website. but you can get it here : http:/

I have tried and it's working fine.

hope this will help.

SOURCE: no olympus digital recorder vn2100pc vista 64 bit driver

This is because this device will never be compatible with a 64 bit VISTA OS. Olympus now has a VN-3200PC or VN-5200PC that are compatible with the 64 bit VISTA OS platform.

My kids lost the driver cd for my casio ctk-710. Where can I download the proper software for this?

The Casio support site has a page to download the latest driver and software; once you download it you can install the file (and save to external media):

I hope this helps.

How can i connect my ctk-720 to my mac & the garage band application.

Just did it today. Hooked up CTK-720 to Imac with Snow Leopard (10.2.6) using GarageBand.
Steps: 1) Go to : 2) Download the CasioUSBMIDIDriver.plugin (see the two choices on the right side of screen) 3) Place the CasioUSBMIDIDriver.Plugin file into the MIDI Driver subfolder: Macintosh HD => Library => Audio => MIDI Drivers 4) Restart 5) Plug in USB cable, open GarageBand, turn on Casio 6) In GraarageBand Open New Project, Start by using Piano, Select Keyboard (command K) in the Window menu 7) You should see the keyboard being played on the screen.
PS: Thank you Francois Ferland.

Not able to connect to USB MIDI of my Casio CTK 810i

On reading specs, use of the USB is NOT supported on a MAC or on other than the 32 bit version of Vista. If you happen to have the 64 bit Vista, it won't work. All the other versions of Windows seem to be supported..

SOMETIMES one must install the software BEFORE connecting the USB cable to the unit. SOMETIMES one must install the drivers in SAFE MODE. These things are ridiculous, but some of the quirks of Windows are stupid.
