Hi Rordawg01

Pretty straight foward. You need to connect power via a heavey duty cable direct from the battery to 12v terminal. Fit a fuse in line at the battery the same value as that on the amp(30a is good). Ground(chassis of the vehicle to the earth/ground connection. The remote terminal on the amp connects to your head unit to turn the amp on and off when you turn the stereo on and off. . You will need to supply signal via rca sockets to the amp also, these then connect to rca connectors that can be found at the back of your head unit.

Dont forget to disconnect the battery when doing 12 volt wiring on your car. If you wanted to get up to speed with installing car electronics, check out this site. It may help you get up to speed.

How do you hook sp5g to a pioneer receiver

That's a 500 watt continous power speaker please ensure you amp able to push these speakers. If it is speaker wire just needs to go from the front speaker output to the speakers input.

I have a Sony STR-DE597 FM/AM Receiver .It has audio out plug and i have a Jensen js650 100 watt Subwoofer. how can i hook them up. Thanks.

The reason you may find it difficult to connect the Sony Receiver to the Jensen JS650 is that the JS650 does not have a line level input (RCA) to match the RCA subwoofer output of the STR-DE597 receiver. In this case, all you need to do is connect an extra set of speaker wires from the "Speaker B" Left and Right speaker connections on the back of the Sony to the speaker input connectors on the Jensen. On the front panel of the Sony, select speakers A+B settings so that the subwoofer is on in parallel with the front speakers.

I hope this answer is helpful to your home system set up.

The Jensen JS650 does not accept line level input so you need to use the Front B speaker output from your Sony receiver and not the RCA subwoofer output. Even though your subwoofer is active, it does not support line level (RCA) signals.

Just connect the subwoofer as you would a pair of speakers. Once connected, you make sure the front panel speaker switch on the Sony is set to A+B so you get sound from your existing speakers (A) and subwoofer (B).

I hope that works for you.

The model number is Kenwood KA-894 integrated Amplifier I'm trying to find out how many watts. Thanks

The manual with 'specs' is here. Take them with a grain of salt because it's impossible to produce more audio watts than are consumed electrically (250 total).

My amplifier getting protect what shall i do?

You have overloaded it. Check your wiring to make sure you are not shorting anything out. Check your speakers' ratings and make sure they are not less than 8 OHMS or reduce total number or speakers being driven. A 500 Watt receiver should easily drive 6 80-100 WATT peak speakers @ 8 OHMS.

Speakers with less resistance (6 ohms and lower) require more power to drive and therefore increase the load on the amp, which puts it into PROTECT mode so you don't blow the circuitry. Do not drive a subwoofer with the same amp as the main speakers. Be sure you are using home audio and not car audio speakers. Use larger speaker wire (16 gauge or lower).
