Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

We must upgrade Zebra 170 XiII printer firmware. We need V18.8.0 or higher version.

The latest firmware version available for the XiII printer is V18.9.2.

There is no such thing as self clean mode. get a cotton swab soaked in 90% or stronger isopropyl alchol and wipe the print head. be careful not to scratch.

You need to buy the zebranet PS2 print server
P/N G46692 External PrintServer II. It will plug into the parallel port. they just stoped making them but they are still for sale at zebra resellers. here is one at random from google

Second hand zebra 90 xi doesn't function with my computer. everything works except printing the label

Did you try any of the self test labels? When the printer is turned off, press and hold either the PAUSE or CANCEL front panel buttons while you turn the printer on.

If a label prints out, you likely have communications issues (maybe bad printer cable) or possibly printer driver issues (try to download and install the Seagull driver from www.seagullscientific.com)

Clear print job on Zebra printer

Simply press the PAUSE button then press CANCEL. If you have sent a batch of 500 labels, though, you will have to press CANCEL 500 times. I usually just turn the printer off, cancel the job in the printer driver status box, then wait for all of the error messages to pop up.

Zebra Xi III

yes .. the print heads can be calibrated to compensate for cold labels or you could just warm them up .. if they are really cold then it takes longer to expose the image .. if you dont compensate for that then the letters will not be fully developed (grey)

Hi, I have a zebra 110 xi||| plus which is printing extra labels.

Did you design the label? Do you have any control over the label design? This is usually a sign that the printer is trying to excede the page limit (usually by one dot row) and is going to the next label to finish. By making the label length slightly smaller, you can stop this.

Zebra 170 xi labela are printing on top of each other

Don't forget to rate this.

You can download Zebra manulas from here. https://www.zebra.com/id/zebra/na/en/index/service_support.html here is a section of the calibration you require. Sorry it will not allow me to attach. i think issue with site usage.

Anyway press PAUSE to pause printer. Then find & press CALIBRATION, it will ask when you want to calibrate either at power up or after the print head is open & closed. I would select Power up since when you change lables out you should do so with printer off.

Good luck, post any questions to this & also rate it.
