Question about ATI RADEON X1300 PRO, (256 MB) PCI Express Graphic Card

Find diver I got the Ati..... from my friend It has 512 of ram different from the above, so I have just installed aredy but it not work properly .How can I find the properly driver.

Please got to the link below & update you're Radeon X1300Pro.
Go into control panel & uninstall any other ATI software before installing the unpaded software.

    Thanks Mike, BUT I have downloaded new drivers MANY MANY TIME DIRECTLY FROM ATI AT:
    They have the newest bdrivers for just about ANY Card that was ever produced. I think my problem, is the is a big difference of my (DEll brand of the ATI X1300PRO vs. the genuine ATI X1300PRO. I have seen photos of each & other than having the same pin configuration, MINE looks NOTHING like the Original ATI branded g/card. I have even downloaded new drivers from Dell, thinking that was the problem, but still that same problem. Any other ideas you may have?? Thanks, Tony

You might not have enough computer ram installed 512 mb of ram to run Video is not enough

If you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules. First you will need to select the manufacturer from a drop down list then select your product line from a drop down list then select the model then click find it will take you directly to compatible ram also you will have an option to scan your system. I have put in an intel 3.02 pentium 4 processor replacing my 3.00ghz processor and it wont boot up


Check and make sure the processor is seated properly in the socket.
If it still gives you this problem your processor is most likely faulty.
The difference in noticeable speed between a 3.00Ghz and a 3.02Ghz CPU is not really worth all the fuss and you'll be better off putting back your 3Ghz CPU.

Hi deepakbandi2,

This could be as a result of a bad RAM chip or bad hard disk , due to bad sectors in it,

Please follow the below steps :-

  1. Make sure that you connect your RAM properly in the slot , if required remove the ram , clean it and change the slot where the RAM is fixed , for instance , if you had RAM fitted in slot one , change it to slot 2 , sometimes this could work fine.
  2. Try to do a full format of the partition that you select so that the files are copied properly, if this does not work try to install the operating systems on a different partition than you usually use, for e.g. if you were used to install the OS in drive c , try installing it on drive D , and make sure you have C and D drive formatted properly.
  3. If the above methods don't work , then try changing the RAM with one of your friends and check if everything works fine after RAM change , if it does , your probably need to buy a new RAM.

Hello Sir, I had 512 MB 533 MHz DDR2 RAM(Dynet). Now I have bought 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 RAM(Dynet). My system has 2 slots. In one slot, I have 512 MB RAM and in another slot, I installed 1 GB RAM that I have...

The Intel D102GGC2 uses a Dual Channel Memory Architecture meaning that both slots need to be running at the same speeds. I would suggest getting another 667 MHz RAM card and installing it along side your current one, just as I reminder this motherboard only supports 2GB RAM Max so don't get one that is above 1GB.

hello, you just have a shared memory with the on-board ati graphics, if it's on- board graphic card it shares the system memory-most are adjustable through the system bios-in 64,128,256 settings. and if you put more memory, in most cases it will automatic-raise the memory size of the graphics memory. i hope this helps you, all the best. if you need further assistance reply. don't forget to rate this solution.

This model comes in 2 different flavors and I am unsure which one you have but here's the skinny on it:
Option 1:
ATI Radeon® Xpress 1100 chipset with integrated 3D
graphics, up to 256 MB of shared system memory

Option 2:
• ATI Mobility™ Radeon® X1300/X1600 with up to 512MB of
HyperMemory™ (64MB of dedicated GDDR2 VRAM;
up to 448MB of shared system memory), supporting

Regardless of which one you have, you should be able to set the shared memory in the BIOS, or you can use the Acer ePerformance Management software either installed on your machine already, or which can easily be downloaded from their website at this link:

Cannot turn PC on after change RAM

try other combination with the ram, switch their slots, etc. try cleaning slots contacts, make sure it's seated well.
try resetting the bios with the jumper.

Install the operating sistem again.ALWAYS when you get a new component is better to reinstal the windows.
and pay attrntion to the admin accounts and guest.create only one account.
youll face no more this problems.
and for the card take a new version of ati catalist from ati/amd site or from
this wil fix all your problems 170%;)
