MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
All music need to be converted to mp3 file format and then copied to the MP3 player.
For details on converting music files, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

While the device is still plugged into your computer, empty your trash. That should delete the music off the device as well.

Just got mp3/mp4 player and have no idea how to download any audio [ preferably free] to it or even mp3 downloads i already have?

Download music from site such as Sony Music Store, iTunes, Amazon, Piratebay. You can even rip music from CD's with windows media player.

Save the music to your windows music folder.

Install the software that came with your mp3/mp4 software.

It will instruct you on how to move music from your windows music folder

to the proper folder in your mp3/mp4.

"No Song" displayed even though music has been loaded, many times

The songs ripped from CD are not in the right format. In Windows Media Player, highlight the Rip tab, click the black arrow under the Rip tab, select Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3. Now, re-rip the songs. Before you transfer these tracks to the player, make sure you delete the tracks that are on the mp3 player now, or else Windows Media Player wil ltell you that the tracks are already there. Now, transfer the newly-ripped Mp3 tracks to your Sansa. Should be good to go.

Can't load the ma933a mp3 player

Step 1-Plug the unit into an empty USB port.It is not nessesary to even turn it on.
Step 2- Look for the player in My Computer,it should show up as a removable drive.
Step 3- Open the folder where your music is stored, select your songs, right click-send to-select the drive letter that corresponds to your mp3 player.
That should do it for you,I have the same unit and it works that way for me. I hope this helps you!

Mp3 player

I had the same problem.
I use Windows Media Player to load all my music to my ilo. When I went in, it said I had only so much room, and it wouldn't read my music from the device.
So I finally just right clicked it where it show up to left. In the same column as the playlist, and the library of all the songs you already have on your computer.
When I right clicked, I scrolled down to "FORMAT". It told me that it would delete the songs from my device, and I happily clicked ok.
It worked for me. I hope it works for you.
Good Luck.

i think you should format your mp3 player to Fat32!! that is the best solution, NTFS doesn't support both mp3 & mp4 players

Empty folder

There may be possible reasons why your Sansa E250 would display an message on the LCD even when you've downloaded files to it: (1) The music file type is not supported by the player. Sansa players support only MP3 and WMA files. To determine what file type your have, right click on the file type and it should display the "properties" dialog box. Check if it is MP3 or WMA. For example, iTunes music files will not work with the player, nor will WAV or MIDI files. (2) Your music files are supported but the bit rate is not within the range that the player supports. Sansa players support MP3 files up to 128 KBPS and WMA files up to 64 KBPS. You may need to use a 3rd party music file editor to convert the files to a supported bit rate (3) You may have saved your music files in a folder and copied the folder to the player. Your Sansa E250 will not recognize folders. Either save them in the root directory or inside the "Music" folder -- your player's default folder for music files. Hope this info helps :)
