you can down load your manual from this link, i did notice that your product number is not listed in full or has been removed . if you add 00 at the end you will still be able to receive a manuel with instrustions for the remote and resetting.

Our turns on and off by itself. We have switched the outlets and all plugs it uses but it still does this. Its 1 month old maximum and we don't have any problems with our other LG LCD tv... any ideas or has this happened to anyone else?

I believe this is the same issue as mine. Only my tv turns the volume UP by itself. This is very horrible experience since it does not stop. I have to race and dive behind the entertainment stand to unplug the TV since it will not respond to buttons or remote. It always manages to increase the volume up to 100 and does so very quickly. I blamed interference but the only other peripheral I have is a PS3 and it is always off. I am now thinking it has to do with the touchless buttons on the TV itself since it usually makes a couple beeps (same as the buttons) before increasing the volume to 100. I am trying to get a hold of LG but maybe try cleaning the touchless button area?

I just purchased 1 LG LED 42" and had the same problem: every 10 min the volumen turned down by itself. After call to a very gentle 24/7 CSR,yet with no results, I found the solution by re reading the manual...SOlution: I went back to initial setting and changed it from store mode to HOME mode. When is in store mode, the volume drop feature is activated every 10 min. may be to reduce noise ina retail store enviroment..good luck guys

Will not turn on

Probably a spontaneous power supply failure.

I have a 42 inch LG 1080p led flat screen and I will turnm the volume up on it and after about 15 min it automatically cuts itself back down how do I fix that

Check your remote for a stuck button and the key pad on the tv ( unless the tv has a touch panel ) If both check fine, go into user menu and see if you have auto volume turned on. If this checks ok then you have a faulty main board.

I have a 36 inch LCD LG flat screen TV for the past 2.5 years. The picture seems fine but my remote controller seems to have a mind of it's own. It doesn't matter if I'm pressing the volume up or down but...

try to get it apart and clean the pick-ups on the board with a clean pencil eraser and also the button cavities as they seem to be sticking on you ok cleaner used should be light alcohol based to use on the body if it is really dirty ok good luck:):):)

Volume goes all the way up by itself

1. The volume up button on the remote may be stuck down- try wiggling the button to get it out. If it isn't the remote if the local volume control is in fact two buttons perhaps that one is stuck in or damaged.

2. The dvd sounds like it needs a new laser unit- a worn laser unit may play up like this.
It might be time for a new one as replacement can be sometimes more than the cost of a new one nowdays!
