Bosch fridge freezer: Oil substance- like corn oil/ olive oil - puddle of this appearing on floor under freezer section. cannot find any source for this. Is it likely to be a leak from the black tank unit...

The oil like substance could be coolant, but it could be something else. If the compressor has developed a leak you won't have that long before it goes, and you will notice the compressor getting hotter and hotter before it just totally locks up.
BUT are you sure that the oil like substance is coming from the compressor and not the coolant line? If it is the coolant line that can be repaired and the unit charged with coolant as long as the compressor hasn't locked up due to low coolant. SO I would attempt to localize the leak the best you can.

Hi, My Bosch Model B20CS50 SNI/01 side by side

It sounds like the fridge is in need of a regas, but that seems unlikely after only three years, although not impossible. An indication of that would be if the compressor could be heard to be running all the time. If it cuts out after running only a short time it could be the thermostat that has gone faulty.

Your evaporator drain pan under the fridge may be misplaced. If so, simply pull out the unit and place the pan back where it goes under your box. Hope this helps!

Bosch fridge freezer - ice build up and water leak from freezer

Hi,
This is most likely a blocked drain pipe - blocked with ice that is.

Remove all the drawers in the freezer - and stack them up.
With the unit switched off and unplugged, undo the fixings on the rear pannel in the freezer (behind the drawers)
Remove it to see the evaporator coils etc.
At the base there should be a channel - and a hole leading to the drain pipe. This needs unblocking wih a thin flexible cable. -net curtain support wire is ideal, and cheap. or use a short length of insulated cable.
Check it comes out at the rear of the unit onto the evaporator container - situated on top ofthe compressor.
Replace everything and switch on.

2 year old kenmore elite water leaking in freezer area

Does this happen when unit is in a defrost?? If so, sounds like the drain line is clogged. The hose and pan are located under the unit. You can access this by removing the cardboard back cover.Find the drain line tube.I'm sure the drain opening at the evaporater is iced over. You will have to unplug the unit and keep the doors open to defrost.(Removing product in unit will decrease defrost time.) Maybe an hour to an hour and a half.Could be longer!! Try using a wet/dry vac to clear.
