Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Hello, and thanks for using FixYa.
Unfortunately the only way to get rid of this issue is to connect the ipod to the computer in recovery mode and perform restore, it will wipe the device clean, there is no other way to get rid of this problem.
Connect the USB cable to the computer but not the ipod, turn off the power from the ipod, and then hold down the home button and connect it to the usb cable. The ipod should power on keep holding the button until a icon of itunes appears on the screen. Computer will also notifiy you that itunes has detected ipod in recovery mode, you must restore. Click restore on the itunes window.
after the restore the ipod should work normally. But since this is a very strange problem the ipod might have gotten innappropriate voltage from the adapter and it might be in need of repairs. 21 414 982 minues should come up only after entering the pass code wrong hundrets of times.
Please let me know if you require further assistance or if you have any questions.
