Thank you but do you have a picture of the inside showing exactly wear that little speaker fits.

  • gspt772 Oct 15, 2010

Thank you do you have a picture showing where the small speaker fits?

  • gspt772 Oct 15, 2010

    ok, thank you very much!!

  • gspt772 Oct 16, 2010

ok so I'm assuming that the front speaker is not under the keyboard so I dont need to remove that part of phone. Is that correct. I have phone apart with the working speaker and put back together wanted to test before taking working phone apart (the one that has broken speaker) and put it back together but the speaker cant figure out where it goes, I didnt take it apart someone else did and that person I dont have a way of getting ahold of so I'm on my own. its funny cuz my puppy chewed the phone w/broken display and bit right at the top of top speaker and lcd screen broke but can hear perfectly and the 2nd phone that I cant hear on unless I use speaker nothing occurred to damage it just stopped working. but maybe if I take a picture of it you can point out where speaker goes would that work??

I just want to make sure I dont go and brake my working phone all together, I just cant stand having every call I'm on everyone around me can hear.

Thanks for your help let me know if I can send you picture

    Thanks

Yes you can swap the speakers if the broken phone is also Samsung R560, but I am not sure which speaker you were talking about. If you can hear and incoming call after the Loudspeaker is activated and if you can't hear when it's deactivated, then the front speaker (smaller speaker) needs to be replaced [the bigger speaker with which we hear ringtones and songs is called ringer]. There is nothing to worry about the glue or anything, it should easily fit in the compartment. Since it's a slider with double keypad, you need to be very careful while disassembling the unit, otherwise you'll end up damaging the flex cable. All the main components (motherboard) is/are fitted on the bottom part and the flex cable for display, speaker and keyboard pass through the two parts - top and bottom, and you know which is (flex cable) easily broken if handled without much care.

If you are not very sure and if you don't have the compatible screwdriver, I would recommend you to get it done from a mobile repairing center, they may charge you a small fee, but they will not fail, if they fail, they should take the risk and will replace the necessary components. Or if you know and or if you have idea how to repair a mobile handset and have all the compatible screwdrivers set, then go ahead with my instructions.

Note: Even using a bad screwdriver can damage the handset, could be the case or could be other components.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Yes, you need not to disassemble the other part (keyboard), I hope that since you could reassemble the other (broken) phone, you'll be able to disassemble and reassemble the other too. Send me the pictures and make sure you take the pictures from several angles. Good luck.

Suggest you should free up space on phone. Download Samsung kies (software) to your pc. Back up all important info and reset phone. Also, go to play store and download du booster to your phone and run it. You should have phone working absolutely perfectly.
if not, contact your network provider and enact warrenty on the unit for servicing/repair.

My samsung sgh-t819 is not working

My phone did this a few times as well. It went on for a few days, I couldn't answer my phone unless it was closed and I slid it open, couldn't look at text messages, nothing. Finally it died and I recharged it and it started working again.
Later on the phone also would act like I was randomly opening it, so it would light up, causing the battery to die faster. Once it died completely I charged it and it worked fine again. So far it's been a month and it hasn't happened again. Now though my phone stops working where I can't receive calls or text or make calls or send texts. This can last for 20 minutes to 3 hours at a time. I can't wait to get a new phone!!!

I locked my samsung sch-r560 messenger phone a while back and never remembered the code again i tried everything i can think of from names birthdays and fav. #'s i did it so i wouldn't press any #'s...

Unluess you changed the lock code it is normally the last 4 digits of your cell phone number. I am unsure if the phone does this or not but I know some phones will actually lock if you attempt to unlock it 3 times with the wrong code and you have to call the service provider to have them send a code to unlock it

Haunted Phone!

well i can say I have had this issue before myself alot of the time it was due to interferance, lots of metal and steel in the way I had calls come in VM 4 days later make sure your always close to a window if there is lots of metal or tin around.

other then that I would contact your local dealer and tell them of the issue and see if there is something that can be fixed on the unit or if it is just a flaw of the phone itself and if possible upgrade or downgrade of the phone to one that will work correctly in your enviroment.

Samsung SGH X830, help.

Enter the code *#9998*2878#. This is a custom EEPROM reset, you won't lose any data on your phone but your settings will be restored to the factory default state.

If that doesn't work:

Enter the code *#9998*3855#. You will lose all your data on the phone as the code restores the phone to default factory settings.
