Question about Magellan Triton 1500 GPS Receiver
I'm thinking about buying a Triton 1500 on my way home back to the UK. Is it possible to change the base map when I get back?
Actually this is quite simple. Place the basemaps on your SD or SDHC card and then do a MENU>>VIEW>>MAPS and place a check mark by the basemap of your choice.
NEVER change the internal basemap of the GPS as this is periodically updated in the firmware update process and your basemap will be overwritten. This will NEVER occur on the SD card.
