Hi Good day!! turn on your printer, open the cover of your printer, the print head should go to the center and then you can insert your ink in their designated color, be sure to insert the ink cartridge properly, if not your printer will not recognizing your ink cartridges.

Receiving cartridge error consilt user guide, can you help mke?

Well, without knowing what printer it is or the full text of the error message, or what lead up to your proboem, this is a guess.
Wrong ink cart.
Empty ink cart
Missing ink cart.
Mis-installed ink cart.

Many ink carts have a piece of tape over the contacts or over an air breather hole. This must be removed before installing it.

Some printers have delicate contacts that can be bent or broken if the cart isn't installed carefully.

Your print heads most likely need to be cleaned.

When you don't use your ink carts for a while, when you get new ink carts that have been stored in warehouses for a number of months, or when you have refilled a slightly too dry ink cart, the print head nozzles on the bottom of the ink carts get clogged with dried ink. The printer head cleaner menu will not disolve the dried ink. Water will. Try this. Soak the bottom of the clogged ink cart in 1/2 inch of hot water for 15-30 minutes. Blot dry with clean paper towel(you should see the ink color on the towel). Retry.

Power light (or Alarm and Power lights) alternate(s) between orange and green After long green flash, there are 2 or more alternating orange and green flashes. There may also be a Service Error message on...

Try resetting the printer by unplugging the printer from the power source for 5 mins. and they make sure ink is full and paper is loaded and not jammed. If not resolved carefully remove all ink cart from machine without touching and ink cart metal contacts, reseat the ink cart and reset and the printer.

My 926 dell printer will not recognize my color cartridge. How can I fix it?

This could be a few things. It could be dust or some debri blocking the connection. take out the ink cart and use a lint free cloth to wipe off the copper looking contact. if that doesn't work then it's one of 2 problems. it's a bad ink cart, or the printers sensor is bad. It's usually a bad ink cart. If the ink has been refilled, then i guarantee that's the problem. Best thing to do is buy a new ink cart. If that fixes the problem then you are set. if not, the printer is faulty. Dell's ink carts have a 2 year warranty. If the ink cart is under warranty, then they should be able to replace it. Just be sure to tell them that another ink cart resolved the problem. If the printer is the problem and it's out of warranty. pitch it. Dell is gonna charge somethign like 29 dollars to troubleshoot and tell you the same thing. If it's still under warranty, the of course, call dell and get it replaced.

New cartridges loaded in. error telling me no black cartridge. telling me also short circuit in print head has occured. help!

this is usually a print head problem with these type of ink jets. try unplugging the printer, remove the ink cart and take an alcohol pad or qtip with alcohol and clean the cooper contacts where the ink cartridges go. If the printer is not used alot the ink dries up and clogs the print heads. Once cleaned, re-insert the cart. and power on and see what happens. No promises here as this is the nature of dealing with ink printers.

hope it helps and good luck

My machine keeps saying No cartridage Open scanner cover then reinstall ink cartridage

This can sometimes happen when a cartridge becomes completely empty (but this shouldn't happen with original Brother ink carts).
Are you using Originals or compatable/refills etc?

If the ink carts all seem ok:

Take out all the ink carts and close cover.
Switch off power and wait a few seconds.
Switch power back on.
Machine will prompt you to install each cart.
Do this individually untill all carts are back in machine.

If this does not solve the problem (and you are 100% the ink carts are not faulty) the machine requires engineer to repair.

No prints

First thing to do is load the software. Make sure that all of the cartridges have ink, and are being recognized by the printer, and you get a satisfactory nozzle check. You will want to make sure that the chips on the cartridges (and the pin connectors) are clean and without ink/residue.

Did you use generic ink carts? If yes ink has stained the led control. Try to clean it by help of a towel. In some cases this will help. If not, the led control needs replacing!
Another solution:
Did you answer the question given by printer when changing the cart?

You might take all carts out, unplug machine from power outlet. replug to power. wait until machine demands carts. Place cart in and answer question.

1. Took out the color ink cart and clean the copper contacts of the ink cart with cotton swab, make sure that you do not touch the silver nozzle .
2. Try new ink color ink carts as someime this issue came up when the ink carts are about to finish up.
3. Replace the ink carts and do not us a refill ink.

Take all carts out. Close cover. Unplug machine from power. Wait a minute. Plug in machine to power. Machine demands carts. Insert new (!) cart as demanded from machine. In case when asked push 1 for YES: cart changed.

BTW:
Always print until machine stopps printing. Display says NO INK XY. After replacing the cart machine will print the rest data out of its memory.

NEVER change cart when machine says low ink (This is only a hint to buy a new cart!). At this point the cart has about one third of ink left!
