My first thought would be blown water inlet valves but if the hot and cold are not working then i could be a broken lid switch try switching it to hot only

Water comes out but spray arms don't turn and motor doesn't seem to be runing

Sounds like a bad pump/motor. It is also possible that something hard (like broken glass) got down into the pump impeller, stopping it from turning. Depending on the brand and model, this may be easy or hard to check and clean out.

Defy dishwasher does not wash or spray the water but is filled with water and goes through it cycles, what can be wrong?

The motor that pumps the water out of the machine is the same motor that pumps thru the spray arms. The motor runs in one direction to pump the spray bar and in the opposite direction to drain the water out. look at the cycle timer. It switches the direction. If it proves good then the motor is bad.

How to remove windshield washer pump

sounds like the spray nozzles are clogged you can usually remove them and soak them in soapy water or spray water through it with a sprayer on the end of a hose. if that doesn't solve it then you may have a cracked line or the pump that pumps it out may be broken but usually is the nozzles are clogged.

How do I find the pump on model #she44c06uc/48? Dishwasher wont pump water out?

Hello

When you say pump out water, do you mean the drain pump used to empty the hopper? Usually dishwashers have two pumps, one to empty it and one to supply water to the wash arms. If it drains but doesn't spray it sounds like spray supply pump is gone. Could be just a loose connection or it a dodgy contactor or relay, or the pump itself. Someone with a very basic knowledge of electricity and a multi meter could very easily diagnose this and you may be able to order the part.

Water not spraying from either top or bottom spray bar. There is water in the machine. the pump sounds like it is running, just no spray. Why no spray???

Your pump is sending water in a circle until it's cycle is over. There is a screen in your drum that the water has to travel through in the circle. This may be plugged or there is an obstruction in the hose(circle). You have to start at the pump and go in a circle until you find the problem.

Top rack doesn't get clean. It's like the spray bar isn't spraying out water.

Sounds like a loss of water pressure from the pump due to a clogged debris screen (keeps big stuff from entering pump). Check this screen at lowest point inside the washer where water enters water pump. Typically, some disaasembly of lower spray arm is required. If machine has a chopper/food disposal option, then clog is most likey at the screen in chopper assy.

Hope you find this helpful.

Water is not spraying

Plugged holes in spray bar or plugged filter in bottom, preventing water from draining down to the pump area. If the pump can't get water, it won't pump water up into spray bars. If spray bar holes are plugged, water can't get out.

Water doesn't come out of spray bar. water fills dishwasher (and can drain), it also gets heated. But the spray bars won't spray any water (top or bottom). Any ideas?

There is a pump that sends the water to the spray bars. I believe it is broken. Perhaps there is a jam but I don't think it is possible because the water is filtered before going to the pump.

Anyway. The pump may need to be replaced (not the drain pump).
