Kodak Easyshare camera - acting strange and won't turn on

When I try to turn on my Kodak Easyshare Digital Zoom C330 camera, the logo shows up, then tells me that the date and time have been reset. When I hit cancel, it freezes. The lense stays extended and nothing happens. I did not drop or damage my camera in any way that I have noticed - all I did was leave it plugged in for a few days, assuming nothing would happen. What is this and how can I fix it? I can't afford another camera.

I have the exact same problem on the c330 model. I just turned it on one day a few months ago and the frozen date/time reset screen popped up; I haven't been able to fix it either.

Try taking out the SD card. Mine was freezing up and thought it was dead. I took the card out and it works perfectly fine with the internal memory. I'm trying to find the best card to use now but I've read it needs to be 1GB or less. Good luck!

Leaving the camera pluged in should not have caused damage. The camera may need an all reset. Check in the instruction manual for your set to know how, or call Kodak customer service to find out.

If the all reset did not work and if all the setups are correct, and the camera still does not start, this means that there is a failure inside of the camera. It would most likely be on the main CPU board, or one of the operation sensors in the camera system.

New memory card and the camera says its full

try doing a format with the camera. check your manual to see how to do this with your camera. Beware, formatting will erase anything on the card. i actually had the same problem with my camera, and this worked for me. Sometimes new flash cards are not compatible off the shelf--they need to be formatted. You should have at least flash cards to be sure card is not defective. Let me know if this helps!
