In the world the cd dvd creaters are using a new format of cd dvd making old players obsolite due to piracy these new cd dvds are becoming a pain a way they make you go out and purchase new players with updated formats

i found this out a few months ago when i bought a dvd from store it wouldnt work in a 7 month old dvd player so i got to thinking about it put in older cd that worked did a little investigating i want to know why new cd dvds werent working low and behold i found a tech site for the cd dvd compile build formats there it was piracy is getting knocked out by new cd dvd format this is so you cant copy direct to or from disks
if you can try to find older disks cause the new disks could be whole problem

because players are being built with a secured piracy module thats coded to new discs that only work on your comp not a buddies you need new player too and discs to actually play together

dont ya just love when piracy gets out of hand and everyone suffers even the ones that pay for services

these new cd dvd formats and player piracy modules can not be changed or taken out unfortunatly

CDS BURN BUT CANNOT PLAY WHY?

You mean, you burn the CD in your PC but you can't play it in external CD player ?
Maybe you didn't burned it in "movie" mode, just burned in "data" mode. As you know, CD player can't play .avi or .mkv or other video formats. They only can play movie in .DAT format, and when you burn in "make a movie" mode, the burner will convert your movie to this format so you can re-open your movie via CD player.
Or there is an error during the burning time, if this happen then you have to re-burn your movie into another CD.

Hope this help and be kind to rate this answer.

My dvd burner works ok, and my cd drive will play cd's but I can no longer burn cd's. I've not tried to burn a cd for quite some time, so I don't know when it stopped working. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp...

maybe your dvd burner got malfunction, go try to burn another one, if it doesnt burn a cd/dvd, then its time for you to buy a new one, or if there is an update for your dvd burner then download it and try to patch/update it, if not then buy another one.

CD burner won' finlize process. Will initialize the burn, write the songs, but when it is finishing, it cancels process and spits out the disk. Please help!

hi there,

it sounds to me as though you are suffering from Buffer underrun. I would like to suggest that you attempt burning at a slower speed, maybe 16x or even 12x.

Kindest regards,
