Question about Apple 15" PowerBook G4 Aluminum 1.67 GHz LCD Display (p/n 1002587) (661-3749 1002587) Mac Notebook
It's the screen itself, video cables produce a different problem. Easiest way to fix your problem is to match up the part numbers on the back of the lcd with a new or used one from ebay.
Make sure you match ALL of the numbers it's usually something like LTN152W5-L02
The dash and the numbers after it matter!
Most of them go for only 30-50 so it's an cheap fix, check out ifixit.com for full tutorial on how to swap it out ;)
