Have a Whirlpool Cabrio top loader washing machine, keep getting UL code when spin on high speed and the machine bangs all over the place.. Model num wtw6300sw0 Type 581
F1(F68)-Pressure Signal Out-of-Range I telephoned Whirlpool at 1-800-253-1301. Whirlpool acknowledged the F1 fault and will send a serviceman, free parts and labor, to correct the problem concerning the "famous" F1 fault. This is even for washers out of warranty! This concerns model WTW6600SW2 washers. Be sure to get the authorization code from them so the service person cannot argue about costs.
Error code F1 is caused when the control on your washer is either bad or about to go bad. This is a common issue with Whirlpool Cabrio washers and they are aware of this. I have also seen them replacing the control without any charge, don't really know about the labor charges but they usually won't charge you for the part. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display and completely cancel the cycle
flashes if the washer loses power during a running cycle. The washer does not flash "PF" when it is first plugged in. Press START to continue the cycle from the moment that power was lost
here's the part # W10189966. I guess whirlpool had a recall on the units and revised the control boards. might want to call whirlpool on that. Good luck :)
