Check the audio "out" settings on the TV
Modern LCD TVs, unlike older televisions, have additional settings for audio out, which could effect the volume being sent out the AV out jacks ... and sometimes a setting for sending the audio through the HDMI cable, which it sounds like you are not using ... so you don't want that enabled ...
If you can disable the volume control on the TV through the TV's settings that would be best.

It's also possible you have a bad cable, but if it works with another TV probably not that ...

Good luck!

Toshiba lcd tv 32" making noise by speaker

test this steps and fix it. God bless you

Line noise is feeding in from the AC line. Use an AC liner filter to block the line noise. RF (radio frequency) interference is being picked up by the power line or wiring. Remove sources of RF interference, such as fluorescent lighting or wireless devices not designed to work with audio/video equipment. Wires between the components are on top of one of the components; the transformers are causing RF interference. Be sure that wiring goes behind the components rather than on top or between components. If there is an equalizer in use, there could be a ground loop. Ground loops can be resolved by installing GLI's (ground loop isolators) on the cables connecting to the equalizer.

We have no sound on a old style tv (not lcd flat screen) picture is fine its a 28inch bought new 3 years ago

I would refer to the manual and call the manufacture, Or you could take the back panel off and check if the speakers have a solid connection. You can also check the back to see if the tv has speaker hook ups and if it does it might have a switch by it that is for turning surround sound on you need it on stereo or mono.GOOD LUCK HOPE THIS GETS YOU ON THE RIGHT TRACK!!

Can't get Roku N1100 to work with Samsung LCD. Worked fine with older style TV. DVD input works fine. Connect Roku....Nothing. Samsung LN32C350. Attempting to connect with RCA style connectors,...

Make sure you select the correct input for your device. If you are using RCA cables then select the RGB option on your inputs, or it may RCA as a connection. If you are using HDMI then make sure that is selected.

My 2003 STR-DE995 goes into "PROTECTER" mode

hi roy for starters hooking up more then 1 speaker to 1 input makes the total impedance higher\lower then the reciver "sees" there for u r causing the amplifier work hard and warm it up for no reason attach each speaker to 1 inlet look on the speaker for level of resistance (4 Ω, 8 Ω) and adjust the reciver for that level in that inlet if u want morn power ull have 2 connect the 2 amps in line as you sed, although the Bedini is "old-school" im sure it will do just fine and then u can crash ur whole house down from endless power... its difficult to say without any parameters what kind of connection will be the best result, so just try them all and see what u like the best keep in mind that loud music is hearting ur ears and if ull keep up this way ur wont be able to hear your child not to say when you will b older.... good luck windman
