Question about Panasonic DVD-LS850
H03 is a mech problem if I remember you need to take the bottom cover off and remove the mechanical assy (laser chassis) then you need to clean the worm gear (this is the gear that moves the laser back and forth) even the littlest amount of dirt will jame this gear and make the unit go into H03 Mode

I just solved it I think let's see how long it works. I took the battery used the AC Adapter. Hit it a couple of times on the bottom of it, then it worked:)

I was told by a close friend(Authorized Repair Centre) that, the reason Panasonic
discontinued the LS82 and came out with LS86 is because of the Head Rest Mount. The DVD was spinning in Vertical Mode instead of Horizontal. And the bumps it took, while attached to the seat was too much for the Laser assembly.
LS86 is a replica of LS82 just black in color. It Uses the Battery CGR-H712 same like LS 82. Power consumption on both is 22 watts.Yet they claim its 13 hrs. Thats bunch of BS. I have both ,which I bench tested with same settings. And it lasted between 8.5 to 8.75 hrs.Towards the end it was struggling.
