Question about Maytag 25.6 cu. ft. Wide-By-Side Refrigerator with PuriClean II Ice and Water
Did you fix your problem? What worked? or did you have to call a service guy?
I appreciate your help!
I had to finally call for service. He cleaned the coils which were plugged with dust and cat hair. It didn't fix the problem completely so I called them back out. This time I was told I had the opening in the back of the refrigerator blocked by tall bottles. That was what controlled the amount of airflow from the freezer section to the fridge part. You're not supposed to keep anything directly under it. The higher you set the fridge, the more the vent opens to allow the flow of cold air in. I also moved the food in my freezer away from the air openings. Nobody had ever mentioned this to me before. The combination of the two (Vacuuming coils and Freeing up the airflow) actually worked.
