Hello, what is wrong with my printer, there is a light on, not any of the toner colors, not the wireless one, BUT the one has arrows going to the right and left and then a triangle?

My printer is low on yellow and magenta and is printing a stripe of each color on the papers edge.

Hi.
On the drums for each colour there is a purple/blue/green slider for cleaning the corona wire. If there is a stripe of colour anywhere on the page going from top to bottom check these sliders. They need to be where the arrow on the slider meets the arrow on the drum casing.

As for low toner on the Yellow and Magent - Replace the cartridges.

Check the yellow toner cartridge, printing a configuration page.

Configuration page
The Configuration page lists the current settings and properties of the printer. You can print a
Configuration page from the printer or HP Toolbox. To print the Configuration page from the printer,
complete the following steps.
1 Press the (LEFT ARROW) or the (RIGHT ARROW) buttons to select the Reports menu.
2 Press the button (SELECT).
3 Press the (LEFT ARROW) or the (RIGHT ARROW) buttons to select Config report.
4 Press the button (SELECT) to print the Configuration page.

Yellow print OK?
No? try print with another yellow toner cartridge (Q6002A).

Samsung 4623FN when i refill the catrdige second time it shows me as. End of Life replace with new catridge..

  1. Prepare a new cartridge of the color (K, C, M or Y) you wish to replace.
  2. Ensure that the printer is on with all covers closed, and that the Toner Low warning, Sleep, or Ready status is displayed.
  3. Press the right%20arrow%20black.jpg Right arrow button to display the menu.
  4. Press the up%20arrow%20black.jpg Up or down%20arrow%20black.jpg Down arrow button to scroll through the options until Reset Menu is highlighted:

  6. Press the up%20arrow%20black.jpg Up or down%20arrow%20black.jpg Down arrow button to scroll through the options until Change Toner X (where X is K, C, M or Y) is highlighted for the toner you wish to change:

  7. Press the Right arrow button to start the removal procedure. The printers panel will read Please wait, then after a short delay the printer should display a red error light and the message Replace Toner X, where X is the relevant toner cartridge:


  8. Open cover D.

  9. Hold the toner cartridge knob and tilt it toward you.

  10. Remove the empty toner cartridge from the printer.

  11. Take the protective materials off of the new cartridge, and gently shake the new toner cartridge a few times.

  12. Take the new toner cartridge out of its package, and remove the plastic protective cover from the toner cartridge.

  13. Insert the new cartridge into the printer.

  14. Close the toner cartridge cover.

  15. Close cover D.
  16. If you need to change another toner cartridge, repeat the above procedure from Step 1.

I have a hp color laserjet printer 2600n. the black ink is new but on e of the other colors is out. I can't even print in black. Can I override the message on the printer?

Yes you can. Press the arrows until you get in the screen the option system setup and press the check, then press the arrows again until you get print quality and press check, go to replace supplies and press check, press the arrows and you will see the option override out, press check two times and the unit will get back to ready, It might do a calibration but after that the unit will ignore the toner level and will print. By the way you can use color if there is still toner inside the color cartridges

Get code 004 332 restart printer. have removed the four toner cartridges and replaced the drum cartridge and the same code appears

Hello,reseat and clean the four toner cartridges, verify the orange plastic covers have been removed, and verify the cartridges are fully locked into place, .This is the procedure:
1. Press the Menu button and press the down arrow until Replace Toner appears, and then press the "ENTER" button.
2. Press the down arrow to choose the appropriate color toner cartridge and press the "ENTER" button.

Note:If the Menu button is inaccessible, begin replacing the toner cartridges with step number 3.

3. Open the front cover.
4. Lift the handle of the appropriate colored toner cartridge and remove the toner cartridge.
5. Gently rock the toner cartridge from side to side.

Note:Rock the toner cartridge over newspaper as there may be some toner leakage.

6. Gently wipe the exterior of the toner cartridge with a dry cloth.
7. Verify the mag roller has been removed.

Note:Grasp the orange strap, peel the tape away from you, and then, with the tape free, pull the blue strap toward you.

8. To reinstall the toner cartridge, align the arrows on the cartridge with the corresponding arrows on the printer, guide the cartridge in until it snaps into place, and then push down the right lever to lock the cartridge in place.

Note:Ensure each cartridge lever is fully pressed down into the locked postion.

9. Close the front cover.
10. Repeat steps 1 through 8 until all toner cartridges have been reseated.

Replaced black toner..now printer won't print any

In this case, actually it is not the Black toner that got depleted. Here the message being displayed indicate that one of the color Toner supply need to be replaced as it got depleted and currently the printer is printing in Black and white using the Black toner cartridge.

in this case, to troubleshoot these issues please try performing the following and check for the results.

* 1. Check for the level of the toner cartridges:

a) Check from the HP Toolbox application. Here are the steps to be performed from your PC:

* Access the Toolbox software.
* Select the Status tab.
* Select the Device status option.

Here you can check for the supplies status in terms of the % remaining for each toner cartridges.

b) By checking the supplies status from the printer control panel display.

On the printer display when printer is in Ready mode the supplies status can be checked from the supplies level indicator. Each toner cartridge and the Imaging drum level will be indicated by a bar which varies according to the level of the supplies present.

c) Print the supplies status page from the printer.

* On the printer control panel menu, press Menu .
* Use the (Right Arrow) button to select Reports, and then press Enter .
* Use the (Right Arrow) button to select Supplies Status, and then press Enter .

If any of the color toner cartridges and the Imaging drum have a low supply level replace them with genuine HP print cartridges.

The part numbers of the consumables are as follows:

* Black print cartridge - Q3960A
* Cyan print cartridge - Q3971A
* Magenta print cartridge - Q3973A
* Yellow print cartridge - Q3972A
* Imaging Drum - Q3964A

Hp 2600n - Requires replacement of all toner cartriges if 1 fails

Does not sound right. There is an option in the menu to continue printing when toner is out. Currently it could be set to Stop at Out. Change this to Override Out.

1.
From the main menu, press (Right arrow) to System setup and press (Select).
2. Press (Right arrow) to Print quality and press (Select).
3. Press (Right arrow) to Replace Supplies and press (Select).
4. Press (Right arrow) to Override out and press (Select).
5. Press (Select).

REPLACING CARTRIDGE

You should be able to replace just the needed color.  Select menu, arrow right until "Engine" is displayed, select, select "Replace Toner" select color cartridge desired. follow directions on screen.

Cant replace a toner cartridge

It's done via the printers internal menu system:
On your Menu Select button press the arrow down once, then press the right or left arrow until it displays Menu Engine, then press down arrow again, then arrow right or left until it displays Engine Replace Toner (not Engine change toner SZ), then arrow down again, then arrow right/left till it shows the toner color you need to change, then hit the Menu Select button in the middle. The cartridges rotate until the one you selected appears, open the door and voila!
