Clean the contacts with a pencil eraser, both on the battery and the charger. Then despite the flashing let the battery sit on the charger for a good 12 hours to see if it will clear. It is possible the battery has gotten too low to charge. In the shop we sometimes have to "jump start" a new battery by placing it on the charger two to three consecutive times for a few hours. If this does not clear the issue, contact the place of purchase and request a replacement. Motorola brand batteries have a one year warranty.

Best regards.

The dcb106 is a Li-ion battery charger, In this case, I think it is the problem of the battery. And, the battery code of the Dewalt 20v Max tools is DCB201, you can use it to search and find a new battery. You can also try to below store: Dewalt DCB201 Battery

I had the same issue. The problem is resolved by fully inserting the battery pack until it clicks into the charger. When inserted properly you shouldn't have this problem

I have a motorola citrus its new it has no water damage its brand new but it wont turn on it just flashes when i put the charger in

Flashing light on display may cause to a power shortage.

basic troubleshooting :

* try to replace a new battery and check if the phone turns on
* also try another charger, charger might be damage if the cord has a cut lines that may result to a intermittent supply voltage going to the phone.
* check the battery terminal pins on board if its clean and properly align may due to a power interruption as well as the battery terminal surface.

Batteries won't charge

Hi. Sounds like there is a faulty connection somewhere between the charger and the batteries. Are the batteries connected correctly. The charger uses the voltage level in the batteries to regulate itself. If there is a faulty connection, then the charge will not operate. Use a multi-meter to check if the batteries are connected correctly. There should be 24 to 26 volts across both batteries.
This fault can also be caused by a faulty charger socket. Check for any signs of melting or heat damage. There might also be a disconnected wire in the plug on the charger itself.Good luck. Neil.

Take it back to the store and tell them it is no good, and get a new pair of batteries, take the charger too. I had the same thing, brand new batteries, gone in weeks, they replaced them, no problem.

Brand mew makita set batries are flashing as if they were broken

Hi, How are they when you put them in the drill? Are they dead to the point of needing a charge or do they have plenty of power? If they have power in the batteries, and you go to recharge them and the charger is indicating the batteries are faulty, I would say that it is the charger that has the fault not the new batteries. Try and charge them anyway and see if they take a charge. If not, take the new batteries back to where you bought them and tell them they will not take a charge and they are new. Have them pull out a charger and see what happens. If they start to charge, you will know the problem is you're charger. Good Luck.

Dc1804f charger

If you have tried discharging the batteries prior to charging them already with no result and from what you describe in your post, then I would have to say the charger has issues. Go to HD or Lowes (not sure if Lowes carry Makita) but another charger and test your battery again. If you get the same fault, there is an issue other than the charger, if not you need a new charger anyway. If you get the same fault with the new charger, you can always return the new one. Short of opening up the charger and using a volt meter, this is the easiest way to test to pinpoint the real problem. I hope this helps and good luck!

My camcorder doesnt charge up properly, ive purchased a new batteery and charges a bit but doesnt charge to full, light keeps flashing to say somethings wrong. I put it on the pc and it seems to charge.

Is the charging of the battery part of the camera or is it a separate charger? Meaning you remove the battery from the camera and install it into the charger to charge. Of course, if the charge is not full when both batteries have been on the charger, then the charger is at fault. Also, considering that you have also put a new battery on the same charger and the problem is still the same, then the charger is (again) at fault. You can try and send the charger to the retailer for inspection or, better still, take the whole camera and get it checked. Bad batteries or charger can cause more trouble to both the batteries or the camera.
