Picture is black and white, but I have sound. I have red, green and blue plugins. The green one is fine, but I'm not sure which spots to put the red and blue wires in to fix the color.

blue is always in the middle and the green / red are on the ends. Black / white means you have the wrong matching cables. You need to make sure to match red to red, green to green, blue to blue.

PANASONICV that now has a "blurred" screen. We can see the channels but it looks like it's has a shadow around the images. The screen in in a red hue with green blur. TX-51P100H 51"...

Your convergence has failed and needs to be repaired. Once quick test is to goto your convergence menu and see if you can adjust red and blue. If not its has failed and needs to be fixed. You can call in a repair shop or you can get the parts and instructions from www.TvRepairKits.com and do the repair yourself. Its a fairly easy DIY fix.

Turn on console--red screen with wavy black lines

First check your audio/video cable connection to console and then to tv, make sure connection is tight on console and that color coding matches tv (if you're using rca or composite inputs). If those are all good you may need to get a new cable. First try unplugging system and try again, notice the small led light on your power supply, it should be green if it's orange or red you have a faulty power supply

Connect dvd recorder to cable box and hdtv

I have posted a tip that should help you out with your problem follow the link below but there is one minor variation for connecting to your TV.

On step 3 of the connections section substitute the follow for your situation.

You will need 1 component cable (Red/Blue/Green/Red/White cable)

3) Connect the Green/Blue/Red connectors to the back of the DVR labeled "COMPONENT OUT" matching the colors. Connect the same ends to the input of the back of the TV again matching the colors.

4) Connect the last two connectors (Red/White) to the back of the DVR to the AUDIO IN on the TV.

Other than this variation all shoud be the same.

Good Luck...

Sony 43 inch rear projection tv, I have lined up the convergence but still seeing red and green around edge of the tv on the images, seems fine in the middle of the screen though.

Always start at the vary center of the screen with Green. Position Red over Green, then Blue over what now will look yellow. If all is perfect except the outside, you will need to adjust "Mid-Size" until the middle is just as far off as the outside lines. Then adjust the main "Size" adustments to match. Go very slow or you can make a mess of it.

Convergence problem

This is out of the service manual

don't forget to write the setting to rom by hitting the pip button twice

Good luck and don't hesitate to ask questions

2.12.5 Convergence point adjustment
Adjustment preparation
(1) Select color to adjust.
“STATUS” - Green
“0” - Red
“ANT” - Blue
(2) Use 4, 6, 2, and 5 to move the cursor position
(dotted lines).
(3) Use thumb stick to move the convergence point.
(4) Three adjustment modes are available:
1. (3x3) Press “STATUS” 5 times (only works
when DCU is in uncorrected state)
2. (7x5) Press “0” 5 times
3. (13x9) Press “ANT” 5 times
For touch-up, only the (13x9) mode is necessary.
This will adjust every cross-hatch intersection point
on the screen.
For complete adjustment, start with (3x3) mode. This
will adjust center point and eight edge points only,
but will greatly reduce adjustment time. Then use
(7x5) mode, and finally (13x9) mode to finish
convergence.
If “S” distortion appears between cross-hatch lines
repeat (7x5) mode to change calculation process
while adjusting to remove distortion, then return to
(13x9) mode to finish touch-up convergence.
Adjustment procedure
(1) Receive any NTSC signal.
(2) Start adjustment at the center of the screen.
(3) Continue adjustment at next closest position.
(4) Adjust center area first, ending with edge sections.
(5) Press INFO button to perform calculation operation.
This process will take about 2 seconds and no
picture will be seen at this time.
(6) After interpolation, check convergence again and
repeat (1)-(5) if necessary.
(7) When convergence is acceptable, press PIP MODE
to write data to ROM memory. ROM WRITE? is
displayed to alarm system that ROM will be
overwritten with new data. Press the PIP MODE
button again to write displayed data to ROM.
(8) DATA WRITE TO ROM will take approximately 4
seconds and no picture will be displayed.
(9) Green dots will be displayed when operation is
completed.
(10) Press MUTE to return to convergence pattern, then
confirm again convergence is acceptable.
(11) Press PIP MODE (ROM WRITE) mode, then press
PIP CH to initialize sensor data positions.
Adjustment procedure
(12) Input any 1080I signal.
(13)Press EXIT key 5 times to exit video mode.
(14) Select an input with 1080i signal.
(15)Access menu and select ASPECT 5 mode.
(16)Press the SERVICE SW. ONLY button to enter to
DCU crosshatch signal.
(17)Repeat steps 2~11 above.
Notes: (1) Display only green for easier adjustment and
match to jig screen. Press “MENU”, THEN
PRESS “STATUS”.
(2) Perform interpolation and data write to ROM
after green adjustment. Once green has been
confirmed to match jig screen, the jig screen can
be removed. Do not readjust the green color
after jig screen has been removed. This is now
your reference color.
(3) Display green and red only and match red to
green.
(4) Display all colors and match blue to green and
red. Touch-up red color if necessary.
(5) Existing DATA in ROM can be read by pressing
the SWAP button 2 times. This data can be used
after replacing a component (CRT, DY, etc.)
Where complete convergence adjustment is not
necessary, be careful not to overwrite this data.
DO NOT write cleared RAM data into ROM or a
complete convergence adjustment will be
necessary. Remember to try MAGIC FOCUS
before starting convergence adjustment to
minimize adjustment time.

Kirby ultimate g

Vibrating – that usually happens on some short fiber or very dense carpets. When nozzle goes against the carpet fiber Kirby starts jumping. Try vacuuming the same place while facing opposite way.

Belt – red arrows means DISENGAGE. When you install the nozzle on the Kirby unit while green arrows match you will not be able to turn it on red. You must follow sequence (starting from nozzle off the Kirby, green arrows match, Kirby front lifter all the way up by pressing one of the pedals):
1. Turn Kirby knob to match red arrows. You will feel some tension and hook inside of the nozzle is supposed to catch the belt and stretch forming a loop for the Kirby shaft.
2. Put the nozzle on the Kirby and lock it on with the latch.
3. Twist the knob back to match the green arrows. YOU ARE DONE

Go to GoodVac.com Kirby vacuum online manual. There are some small details that you may want to pay attention to if you have removed the brush roll to install a new belt. Also there are some pictures that will help you understanding the process.
