hi,1. first of all please check whether the mute options is checked or unchecked.2. After that go to device manager and check whether audio drivers are there or not. - Try to plug in the headphone and check whether the sound is coming or notIf there is no sound coming out of your speakers, but the headphone jack plays sound, there may be something wrong with your speakers. If this is the case, you can either use headphones or external speakers, or attempt to use the laptop's warranty to get HP to fix the speakers. Plugging and unplugging a headphone from the jack several times has supposedly caused some users' speakers to start playing sound again. 3. If the drivers are not there then go ahead install the drivers from the hp website by using the product of your computer.4. If the problem still exists then try to update the bios of your computer with the l latest version.5. Try to run the recovery of the computer and check after that.
In built speakers?? 1. Play any music 2. If it fails then check the drivers. Get the latest drivers for your machine (go to HP official website under support > Download drivers choose the model of your hp and download the sound drivers! 3. if it fails try external 4. if it fails change sound card
Make sure they have power. Make sure they are connected to the computer. Make sure the volume on the speakers, keyboard , and windows volume control are all up an unmuted.
Your speakers are plugged into the wrong port? Most computers have at least a mic port and a speaker port, many also have front, rear, center, and subwoofer. Try playing a sound, then moving the connector to another port and trying again.
Are your new speakers plugged in? Is the volume on them turned up?
