I have a miller MMHA-077ABHR-05 fURANCE starts and starts heating up but takes about 5 to 10 min for the blower to come one.I think its the fan switch

Sounds like you fan limit control is not set properly. Or the blower speed is set to high.

Have a gmp125-4 furance blower runs all the time checked themostat wires error code 1 blink then 2 then 3 then 5 furance works if you turn power off turn back on when heat kickes off blower comes on gives...


Sounds like limit switch issue. Furnace heats up, high temp limit switch opens, fan will stay on. GMP model is older and do not have the codes.
May be over fired, have airflow problem, to cause the limit to open.
Next time before shutting off power, try to find the limit, it has two wires that connect to a 1.5 x 2 inch card mount to the furnace fire wall. tap on it and see if the blower stops. If so replace the limit.

When i turn my furnace on with auto along with heat the fan will not come on so i have to turn it on fan and then it still will not come on so then i take and turn the switch off for about five minutes...


Hi, sounds like the problem would be more likely in your furnace than with your thermostat. I would suspect a defective fan switch, these switches are temperature activated and turn on the blower at a lower speed than the Fan "on" would.

If the flame looks good prior to the room air blower starting but becomes unstable when the blower starts, you have a crack or hole in the heat exchanger. I strongly suggest your technician do a test on it to see.

After furance shuts off top door is very hot for 20 min. colman recall on heat exchange after this was done furnance where starts up mskes a strange sound i have call three times service guy told me this...


If any part of your furnace is too hot to hold a hand on after 10 minutes and the blower had been running, call another technician. One that wants to help you.

FAN MOTOR CONTINUES RUNNING AFTER HEATING CYCLE IS COMPLETED BLOW


Check the thermostat. Make sure it is set for AUTO fan not ON fan. If that is OK replace the fan relay.
