Hi,
I am assuming that you are talking about a washing machine here....got it in under chain saws though...

I think you will find that the holes to drain the soap are plugged up....then the water has no where to go but out over the top....
See if there is a clip that will release and let the drawer slide out so that you can clean it up....
wash everything you can out and make sure that all holes are open...

All rightty then....that changes everything... :-)

The soap on a pressure washer is pulled in by a venturi as the wateter flows by it creating an artificial vacum. To keep the water from coming back out there when it is not going through the hose to the wand there is a check valve. This check valve is either broken or has dirt stuck in it...

You will have to find it and repair/replace as needed....each pressure washer is a bit different...but a one way valve at the end of the hose that pulls the soap in should not be hard to find...

    Hi,

It would be the part number 32 in this picture...all those parts that make up 32 are a check valve....that is where your problem is...

Issues with leftover soap and water in soap dispenser when wash is done. Cleaned dispenser and still doing it!!! PLEASE HELP

Remove the soap drawer completely, and wash it in warm water. Clean the roof of the hole where the dispenser drawer is using a plastic pot brush and some hot water. There are holes where the water comes from and they get splashed with soap.

Tip

Fix simplehuman soap dispenser

Solution!!!!! to Simplehuman sensor soap dispenser with blinking red light no despensing of soap and new batteries. Rinse out soap with hot water. Fill reservoir with hot tap water. Use bulb end of turkey baster. Place on reservoir to form a tight seal. Force air into reservoir. Which will force the hot water thru the system unclogging the thick soap. Repeat this several times till clear of soap. Then turn on the unit and flush thru the rest of the hot water using the sensor till comes out nicely. Then fill with a thinned out soap. Good luck

The soap holder is opening during the wash cycle but the soap tablet is not dissolving. Any ideas?

Is the water coming on? Is water hot enough? Is washer overloaded, water jets aren't hitting the soap? Maybe try a different brand of soap tablet? Run the dishwasher in "heavy soil" mode which will use hotter water and run for longer?

Water coming out of soap drawer

Some washing machines, can flood water out of the soap dispenser when a hose gets blocked (usually with un dissolved soap powder) .Water flooding out of the front of a washing machine's soap dispenser can also be an indication of overfilling or a partial pump blockage if it does it when spinning.
Black gunge in the top of the soap dispenser can cause water to spray towards the front and leak. Take out the soap dispenser drawer and look at the roof of the soap dispenser. If it's covered in black gunge, blocking some of the water holes, it could be causing problems. In extreme cases you have to replace the dispenser.

The soap dispenser on my price pfister kitchen faucet won't pump soap. It pumps, but no soap comes out.

Two things spell trouble for these poorly engineered units:water and thick soap...

Inside these pumps is a metal ball for
the check valve. any water in your soap
will corrode this ball, causing the pump
to lose it's prime...

Using soap thats too thick (like Dawn)
will cause the soap to harden around the moving parts and impede the pumping
action. Try a thinner soap, such as inexpensive pink hand soap.DO NOT
ADD WATER! (See above)

Hope this helps.

Either you need a new tank, or there is a problem with the platform that the tank sits on. The tank has to sit correctly or it won't work.
