Question about Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer
Well error F1 means the central electrical control unit, i.e. the onboard computer, has fatally failed.
First of all you may leave unplugging the washer from the wall, leave it unplugged for a while. That may reset the internal computer chip. If further you have the same problem then it need some part (chip) replacement need some skills of electronics, part is $150 CODE 083009 part W10189966 CNTRL-ELEC. F1 error in your whirlpool cabrio indicates bad control board and should be replaced to resolve the error code. However, you can contact Whirlpool as well prior to replacing the control yourself as I have seen whirlpool paying for the parts themselves just because this is known to be a common issue.
