Sounds like you an overcharged capacitor or a short to an integral part of the board. unless you have the expertise or tools to pinpoint where the error has occurred this will be a hard fix. If the board is still under warranty I would advise getting in contact with Asus themselves to see about getting a new board sent your direction.

irst check the cable from the monitor is firmly connected to the graphics ports in the rear panel of the cpu tighten the two screws of the connector if you still have the problem then check the connector for any pin breakage if no pin breakage try adding an add on grapics card to the pci,agp or pci exp which is available in your motherboard if there is display then the problem is with connector in the motherboard

Hi,

There could be many things that could stop the board from booting, Determining what is wrong is like detective work. What I do, is take everything off the board to start. Then add the minimum to start a board to see if it will start. That's one drive (cd or otherwise) the CPU, graphics card (if required) and one bank of memory. (that's not a required eliminate, but it helps avoid beep codes) Also, make sure you have your pin's set on the board absolutely correct, or that could be your problem to begin with. Also, if your going to load a ide drive, make sure you set your pin setting correctly on it. Now, you should get the power supply on, and the cpu. If those don't power up, it's then either one of the six elements. The CPU, Power supply, Ram, Drive, graphics card or the motherboard. The next step is to replace each one of the first five with another to see if you get any change. Also, on the drive, try a different cable to make sure it's not that, If no change, then I usually get another board that I can test the first four, and make sure that they work. If after that and you have tested all of the components and they all work, then it's save to say you have a bad Board. It's a lot of work I know, but it's the sure fire way of finding out what isn't working.
Good Luck
Thanks
Mark

Hi! I have a pc with abit is7-e2 motherboard.. And when i start the pc a red led turns on the board... There is no picture on the screen. I already checked the video card but its working

Just how did you check the video card if you get no image on the screen?
Try another monitor with your computer. If you still get no image, then it's your video card or another component.
If your computer will not pass the POST (power on self test) then you will not get any video output.
Culprits can be the hard drive, the CD, the memory, the motherboard, or the CPU. I would disconnect everything but the CPU, memory, and video and try to start it to narrow the problem. But first, try another monitor.
I've even seen a bad power supply that seems to work keep the video from working.
