Question about Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
I am having a similar problem to one that you answered regarding a Dyson not standing upright. It gets almost to the point where it would click and lock to stand upright, but something seems to be stopping it from getting all the way there. I saw your posted answer but can't seem to find the area where you suspect the problem might be. Could you please give me some more info?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Sorry its taken so long to get back in touch.
If you turn the upright over, so that its handle front is on the floor, you'll see a roller bar under neath where the upright pivots down. Check to see that nothing has lodged itself between the plastic "round" part of the bottom motor. You should see that a roller, either a plastic strip or a dark black rod rolls each time the upright handle is made to go up or down. If there is nothing there lodged in between, try some 3 in 1 oil at the points as it may just need lubricated.
