Check to make sure it isnt a problem with other compunents in your system (specifically power supply) If no other issue is found it sounds like you an overcharged capacitor or a short to an integral part of the board. unless you have the expertise or tools to pinpoint where the error has occurred this will be a hard fix. If the board is still under warranty I would advise getting in contact with Asus themselves to see about getting a new board sent your direction.

My asus chromebook won't turn on what do I do

If you can get at them, may have an access panel on the bottom of the unit, remove the ram chips and if you can see and get at the button battery remove it as well (pay attention to how they are oriented when you remove them) wait a few minutes, put them back in and try firing it up.

Why does the battery in my Asus memo pad hd 7 overheat?

You should be very careful charging any battery that heats up to the point that seems like it is overheating. Newer batteries are lithium ion or polymer and can cause fires when they get too hot although the polymer is supposed to be less susceptible. You should get a new battery if you're sure you're using the correct charger made for your device.

Why my kindle fire hd won't charge

I had something similar happen to my Asus Memo 10. In order to get past it I had to turn off the Asus interface gui. The process requires a factory reset and you will lose all your data so first back everything up. I don't know the process for Kindle to reset the factory image but I'm sure you can find it online.

Asus vibe notebook charger keeps going off

Is the battery fully charged? Has their been any damage to the AC jack due to pulling on the cord? If the battery is fully charged, remove the cord from AC outlet. Damage, from a power surge, and a battery malfunction, MAY/COULD result in a fire hazard.

Computer fires up when the power is turned on at the wall

PSU is junk. Do you have a Known to be good, Compatible PSU, you can borrow for a test unit? Isn't supposed to fire up when you plug it in. Also makes me think there is a weak voltage power rail. Post back in a Comment.

Asus a7n8x-x motherboard monitor will not fire up.{monitor}light just keeps blinking no picture. any takers?

Ensure that the AGP video card is seated all the way -that is a common problem with AGP cards. If you suspect the video card then try to find a PCI video card if you don't have another AGP card. This is the most direct way of isolating this problem. Best of luck to you, Steve Medley
