Somewhere short, use OHM meter set to X1K, use two cables from the meter test the cord + and -, if the needle moves, means it is short.

Blinking light voice mail ms9 via phone co wont turn off

The blinking light usually means one of two things: 1) message box is full or 2) you have a new message. Deleting messages should solve this problem for you. After you delete the messages, if you still have a blinking light, unplug the power cord and take the batteries out of all the phones linked to the base unit. Then one at a time put the batteries back in after you plug the base unit in. This should clear and error. Some base units have a back-up battery, don't forget to remove it too!

What does the light flashing on a sunbeam electric blamket controller mean and why wont the blanket heat up

The flashing red light is designed to notify you in the event that
a problem has been discovered by flashing the light on the base unit.

Before resetting the unit. First, check the blanket/mattress
pad for visual damage.
If no visual damage is found, unplug the system from wall outlet.
Check that the base unit is well connected to the module. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet. Set the base unit to "On." If the system still does not operate after two or three times trying to reset, disconnect the power cord and get it checked out by a specialist!

My laptop shuts off after i turn it on.why

Does your laptop even begin the boot process where it displays stuff on the screen? Do you hear fans running, disk drives running, see lights, hear the cd drive click once and notice a light that comes on the cd drive door briefly when you press the power button? If not you computer either has a bad power cord, a bad dc power jack where the power cord plugs in, a bad mother board or static build up. 1) lets eliminate static buildup by removing the power cord and the battery then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then replace the power cord but not the battery and hit the power button. If it boots up you had static build up. 2) Take an ink pen and put in in the slot where the power cord plugs into the laptop, if it wiggles loosely then your dc power jack which is soldered onto the motherboard needs to be replaced. 3) If the power jack is tight and when you plug in the power cord if you don't see any lights or hear a fan, disc, cd drive, then you can almost bet your power cord is bad. 4) If the power cord is ok then you have a mother board issue. Normally motherboards will give some beeps or constantly blinking lights when you plug in the power cord and try to boot up. These beeps or blinking lights will tell the technician what is wrong with your computer.

Turn signal wont flash, hazzard lights and turn signal just stay on, left side started blinking fast, then went back to normal, now they just stay on.

it may be the flasher unit is faulty & needs to be replaced, you should find it under the dash on the drivers side it could be a square or round unit with a connector plug on it, when you remove the connector plug the unit has three pins on it........hope this helps.......cheers.

It wont heat up and all the lights just keep blinking

I have the same problem EVERY time I want to use the crock pot. My solution has be patience. I find that if I turn it on, and the light blinks, but when i click it it will blink on 4 hours, then go back to the blinking light. By keeping the crock pot plugged in and off for about 10-15 minutes I was then able to set the crockpot up for cooking. As if the capacitors inside the unit needed power stored in them from the wall.

System startup

Sounds like the power is going off and on in your system or phone. The blinking lights are a boot up sequence. If this happens on just one phone, try changing the line cord, try swapping phones to see if the problem follows a phone or stays at the port. If all phones do this at the same time.... Make sure the power cord is plugged in tightly on your main control unit, maybe change the outlet the system is plugged into. You could also get a UPS battery backup power for a computer and use that to help resolve this problem AND keep your system up and running for short periods in a power outage. If it is not a power issue, there may be a serious problem with your main control unit and you should get a local technician to look at it. If this is a rare occurrence it will be harder to locate.
