Question about Whirlpool LTE6234D Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer
I have a Frigidaire stackable that will not stop filling with water or agitate.
It will spin and siphon. The water valve works ok during the rinse/spin cycles. I just purchased this used item for my son's apartment. I did lay it on its back in the bed of my truck. This item was a nightmare to get into the small opening in his apartment. I actually had climb over the machine to get out from behind it after plugging in the cord. I purchase additional hoses and joined them to the originals, guess I should have tried to get a longer cord also. The combo was working fine before I layed it down in the truck, got a hernia getting up to the second floor, tore up the kitchen floor, had to remove the pantry door and kick/shove pretty hard to get it turned into its hole. I did not realized the problem intil it had been shoved into place and I could not find any model/serial number from the front. It is probably 4-6 years old.
Is there a general location for the reset button on Frigidaires??
I did try to "unstack" the dryer. Thought it would make the installation a littel eaiser. I did removed a clear plasctic tube 5/16 - 3/8 from the front behind the wahsher controls, and tried to unplug the wiring but got a little frustrated, put it back together and went to Home Depot to get the additional water hoses. Is the clear hose the vacuum for the tub fill process? Maybe I pulled it off from the tub end? If so, would that coincide with the agatation issue?
Is washer running over or just never filling? if running over suspect small hose to water level switch kinked off or a hole in it..if never filling suspect drain hose too low or no air gap between drain hose and stand pipe hose must catch air to break siphon
