I belive that what is the cable assem is the door spring cable and nylon link . so you will have to in order to make it easy remobe the two screws under the top edge of counter this should let you slide the dw out enough to see the sides. if only one side needs replace ment then look at the side that is in tack . a picture is worth a thousand words .. hook the nylon to the door bracket and the open end of cable to the nylon and then strech the spring to the hook or barcket . adjust tenson as needed for weight of door . . heaver door add more tenson . but copy the other side . . ps its best to replace both sides . at the same time . this will prevent you from doing this nest week .. hope this has helped m and thanks for using fix-ya . mm this is a very common repair and is not too hard . mm

It is best to refer this diagram. The cable asm is item 733 and you can see the assembly very clearly.

Please rate this solution from me if you find it useful. Otherwise post a comment and I will try and clarify further.

It is important that you please acknowledge the solution to help fixya serve you better in future.

Hi

Please confirm if you want to install ribbon cable that connects the keypad membrane or the cable which is hooked in the MIDDLE hole of the door. The door panel covers the main control board, detergent cup, wire harness, Smart Dispense bottle, Smart Dispense detergent sensor, and Smart Dispense pump.

The outer door panel is held in place by 12 screws (5 Phillips head screws per side and two 1/4-in. hex head screws at the bottom). The esutcheon keypad is held on by 4 screws.

Note: When removing the outer door panel, be careful not to remove the 4 screws (2 per side) holding the escutcheon to the door assembly. Remove these only to gain access to the control module, active vent, fl apper, and door interlock switch.

Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.

I install a driver but the computer did not dedect the sound

Make sure that the drivers are correct and they should be compatible with the operating system that your computer is running.

You can get the drivers by visiting the website of your computer's manufacturer. Make sure to select the correct model of your computer and the operating system. The drivers will be presented to you then install them.

Dome lights don't come on when you open the doors but light works when you push button on dome.

The dome lamp has a switch that can be put into several positions. "Door" "Off" and "On" If you want the light to come on when you open the door then you must have the switch in the "Door" position.
The "Off" position will only let the dome lamp work when you override it with the dash control and the "On" position will leave the light on at all times - door open or not.

How difficult is it to replace the fuel pump on a 1998 ford explorer

it is in the fuel tank. you have to disconnect the fuel inlet hose at the tank, 2 tank strap bolts while supporting the tank with a jack. then use the jack to lower it enough to reach up and remove the "quick disconnect" fuel lines from the sending unit/pump asm. (special tool required) Then drop it down, remove the retaining ring from the top of the tank and pull the entire sending unit/fuel pump asm. straight up and out...reverse procedure to install the new asm.
