I solved my own problem
I went to my cellular place, they called someone and was told to do a master reset. It worked. It changes all your settings back to original. But you don't lose anything you have saved on phone.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I lost all my media! My player froze,so i reset it.And all is gone!!Is there anyway i can get it back?

not really, your filesystem most likely went corrupt and in fact to make the player work properly (you will be unable to add music most likely) you will need to use the philips device director to repair it. also when that is done, update the firmware (it might just start doing that in the first place, sometimes the ones i repair do. if the director is giving an error instead of repairing it all is not lost in my computer right click on your philips mp3 player's icon and click format this will clear the error and you can now update the firmware (a repair is not necessary) do not worry about ruining your mp3 player most likely your philips uses media player to transfer music so windows knows what it is. Hope this helps!

Songs on my mp3 player

Plug it in to your computer. A little Icon will appear (in My Computer if you are in Windows, on the desktop if you are running MAC or Linux) of an external usb drive. Open said drive, select files and do what you will with them.
And if in doubt, look in the Manual. I know no-one usually reads them, but it is useful. Lost the Manual? Go to

There is a recovery service listed here, but generally not - i do not vouch for this service:

Generally you have to find the songs again.

A lot of things can cause songs to be lost, especially if you are using Napster, get a firmware upgrade, reformat the player, or get a corrupt DB.

I dont know how too change the language on my mp3 2go I want too have it in french can easily fixed this...turn on your player....see where it is? Try to press the top right button to escape out to the main menu...from the main should see the icon....choose the icon with the 4 bars (2 middle bars are moving up and down)...that icon is the setting icon. Choose that icon...then press down until you see "FM xxxxxx", the option above "FM xxxx" is the language option....choose that and then choose your language back to English and you should be fine.

Remove music

I had the same problem. You have to hold down the back button when you highlight the selected song. That back button is also the options button if you hold it down. You'll see a menu if you do it correctly. Then just scroll down to delete song and BAM...
it's gone.

I dont know how to put songs on my gfm mp3v player at all im totally lost what do i do with the little white disk?

A lot depends on what you're asking. If you are asking how to get music for the player, go to Napster or another music site and follow their instructions. Use a pay site; the 'free' ones can have some legal problems you don't want.

If you are asking how do you transfer the music to the player, plug it into your computer with the cable that came with it. One end will fit into special ports on the computer called USB ports which look like skinny rectangles about 1/8th of an inch wide by about 1/2 an inch long. The other end plugs into a port on the player. Assuming you use Windows, open the My Computer or just plain Computer icon. You should see drive letters (C:, D:, E:, etc). One of these drives is your mp3 player. Find the music files (Use Windows search for files ending in mp3 if you don't know where on the computer the files are stored). Use your mouse to grab the files and drag them to the mp3 player's drive letter. Let loose of the files over that drive and the computer will copy the files to the player.
