SOURCE: My sunroof is stuck open on my 1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo? Would it be a fuse? If so, how do you change it?

Definitely, you'll have to take a look to see if any obstruction is visible. To check the fuses first you'll need to find them. The fuse block cover should illustrate what each fuse is for. You can visibly check the fuses, with a flashlight. Just take a look at the sunroof fuse and check that its not burned. That the metal inside goes from one side to the other and its not burned or broken. You can use a test light or a multimeter, a test-light will do. I usually check them visibly, its obvious when you have a blown fuse just by looking at it. Its better just to pull out the suspected fuse to check it.

SOURCE: Broken carouself? Can't properly open, close, rotate, etc.

Broken gears. The current replacement 5 disc is a CD/DVD player and sells for $129.00 at Sony or any other Sony retailer. The cost to have a service center even estimate the repair would be more than 50% of the replacement cost. Hope this helps

SOURCE: i am getting the locked display

Hi Blackhawk,
This sounds like you've accidentally set the "tray lock" feature.
You can set this to stop unwanted tray ejections:

SOURCE: push down wash hand basin engages to close but

If I understand this properly you have a push and pull rod behind the faucet arm that opens and closes the drain plug for your wash basin. If that is it then here is how it works.

Under the wash basin you will see the rod comes down and connects into an adjuster. This is usually a simple holder with a screw holding it in place. It can also be a metal clamp with two holes that the rod passes through. Both move over time and will cause the problem you describe.

For the screw type loosen the screw and adjust the rod until the drain opens and closes properly.

For the clamp type with two holes pinch the clamp to release the rod. Adjust the rod up and down until you find the right position.

If this does not do it there is one other part to the system. There will be a connection from the rod to the main drain. You will see a rod running into the main drain through a fitting. The fitting will have a ring holding it in place and keeping it from leaking water. You can open the fitting by turning with pliers. Inside is a ball and rod connecting to the drain plug. You can disengage from the plug and lift the plug out. Clean all hair etc off the plug and reinstall.

I hope this help you.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Canon MP830 LED Error 5100 'Inner cover is open.

Hi,

As a technician, I have worked on tons of printers. This particular error had stumped me for a while, but I finally found the cause. As others had pointed out before, it can have alot to do with some obstruction in the print path, the gears, or ink on the clear plastic encoder strip. You're on the right track - I found the the purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) was not lubricated well enough from factory. If you lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps) the mechanism can now slide more freely, and the unit can park the head properly without giving you the dreaded head homing error 5100 (or E-2-2 on the LCD display) Keep in mind that this repair will probably require you to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism. There are two screws behind the printer, and two in front for each corresponding side panel (the front screws are behind the grey front panel of the printer - open the top cover to see the clips which hold the front cover on).

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a Toshiba estudio162 and its saying clear paper jam. I opened the tray, removed the crumbled paper and closed it.Its still saying Clear Paper Jam. How do i make the red light stop flashing?

The sensor acturator that the paper hits might be broken or out of place so the copier thinks there is paper there when there is not or there might be a small piece of paper that stuck in there holding the sensor acturator up.

Exterior door stuck closed manually retract ****** remove knobs KWIKSET

You will probably need to replace the latch assembly. There is a small rivet that holds part of the latch together, and it also acts as a pivot point for a small piece that retracts the latch. If it gets bent, the latch won't retract fully, but you might be able to push it back and get the door open.

What's the problem "jam in

There is a sensor flag that hangs down where the paper comes out on top, check that as there might be something stuck in there, also, pull the fuser out and look in there closely because it has a small exit sensor flag on it and could also be stuck in the open position( looks like a little black plastic piece that is spring loaded and when moved should snap back when released) give it a shot... My printer refelects an error paper jam but there is none

Hello
Make sure to go through the process of clearing a paper jam. Open and close doors as though there was a paper jam. The printer looks for the door switches to open and close before resetting it self. You may to power off. Also make certain that no small pieces of paper are stuck in between the openings.

Hope this helps

Soap dispenser will not close stays open will not latch

Turn off power to the machine. Remove the inner door panel and inspect the dispenser cover latch for any broken components. If everything looks ok, check the action of the release solenoid by hand. If it is sticky or stuck closed, try removing the center pole piece and clean the solenoid interior and pole piece with a small rag or 'Q tips' with WD40. Don't otherwise lubricate the solenoid. Push the cover closed and push the solenoid pole to release the latch, then repeat the process again. If the cover will latch again, you can replace everything and try a load of dishes. Hope this helps

Open Door. Clear carriage jam, and then press Enter

Sounds like you have a jam. Open the back of the printer and checl for any paper large or small. If there is no paper, just opening the door and closing it may get rid of the message. All it takes is a piece of paper the diameter of a pea to send a signal that there is a paper jam. After yuou have finished close the door and push enter to let the printer know you are finished. See if this helps. I don't think it has anything to do with the ink cartridges. It sounds more like something stuck causing the jam. Be sure not to have anything like a staple attached to the paper you are printing on to. A speck of dirt could casue a jam message too.
