Definitely, you'll have to take a look to see if any obstruction is visible. To check the fuses first you'll need to find them. The fuse block cover should illustrate what each fuse is for. You can visibly check the fuses, with a flashlight. Just take a look at the sunroof fuse and check that its not burned. That the metal inside goes from one side to the other and its not burned or broken. You can use a test light or a multimeter, a test-light will do. I usually check them visibly, its obvious when you have a blown fuse just by looking at it. Its better just to pull out the suspected fuse to check it.

Broken gears. The current replacement 5 disc is a CD/DVD player and sells for $129.00 at Sony or any other Sony retailer. The cost to have a service center even estimate the repair would be more than 50% of the replacement cost. Hope this helps

SOURCE: i am getting the locked display
This sounds like you've accidentally set the "tray lock" feature.
You can set this to stop unwanted tray ejections:
I hope this solves your problem..

If I understand this properly you have a push and pull rod behind the faucet arm that opens and closes the drain plug for your wash basin. If that is it then here is how it works.
Under the wash basin you will see the rod comes down and connects into an adjuster. This is usually a simple holder with a screw holding it in place. It can also be a metal clamp with two holes that the rod passes through. Both move over time and will cause the problem you describe.
For the screw type loosen the screw and adjust the rod until the drain opens and closes properly.
For the clamp type with two holes pinch the clamp to release the rod. Adjust the rod up and down until you find the right position.
If this does not do it there is one other part to the system. There will be a connection from the rod to the main drain. You will see a rod running into the main drain through a fitting. The fitting will have a ring holding it in place and keeping it from leaking water. You can open the fitting by turning with pliers. Inside is a ball and rod connecting to the drain plug. You can disengage from the plug and lift the plug out. Clean all hair etc off the plug and reinstall.
I hope this help you.
Hope this helps.

As a technician, I have worked on tons of printers. This particular error had stumped me for a while, but I finally found the cause. As others had pointed out before, it can have alot to do with some obstruction in the print path, the gears, or ink on the clear plastic encoder strip. You're on the right track - I found the the purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) was not lubricated well enough from factory. If you lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps) the mechanism can now slide more freely, and the unit can park the head properly without giving you the dreaded head homing error 5100 (or E-2-2 on the LCD display) Keep in mind that this repair will probably require you to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism. There are two screws behind the printer, and two in front for each corresponding side panel (the front screws are behind the grey front panel of the printer - open the top cover to see the clips which hold the front cover on).
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
