Seems like a Driver problem, no need to install Windows over again. Just Right Click my Computer, then go to the Hardware Tab and choose "Device Manager" under there do u see any Yellow Exclamation marks?? .. if so, then go to the link below and use the Auto Detect feature for the drivers
If that does not work, if you remember when it worked last. U can do a System Restore to that date in the past. Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, then System Restore
