Check the amp use of your dryer and compare it to the fuses.
If the dryer is taking more amps than your fuse can dish then it will blow. Upgrade your fuse and/or breaker to a higher amp rating.

SOURCE: how to fit a belt on a hotpoint vtd00 tumbledryer

You will find a groove towards the middle of the drum. This is the path the belt will run on.Just put the belt around the drum and then around the pulley of the motor. You may find on your model a spring loaded tensioner that you can move with your fingers. This will allow you to put it on without loosening the motor from its frame. They are pretty easy to put on. You may want to remove the top of the dryer if you are having trouble working with the belt. There is not much clearance in there. Total time needed with taking the top off is about 30 minutes. Let me know if you have any problems.

Hopefully there's instructions on the belt container. Keep in mind the grooves go around the motor pulley, probably up on the drum. The tensioner is always tough, hard to get both hands in the area. One to hold the tensioner in place, the other to install the belt around the pulleys. Eventually I have to work out a way to do it with one hand. Take your time, practice, watch out for sharp edges. Of course, have the unit unplugged.
If there's no instructions, keep in mind that the belt must go around the motor pulley more than half a turn, and usually the same for the tensioner. That results in an S-shaped configuration, with the tensioner making a long swing to get into place, stretching the spring out.

PLEASE CAN ANYBODY HELP!! I have changed the belt on my TL11P tumble dryer, ancient but good!! I forgot to note where the wires are placed in the timer switch?? There are 4 wires, can anybody help? Th

Are there any markings on the terminals? look for a letter beside each terminal, like L1, N, etc. What colors are the 4 wires? You could have a black or red, and a white and 2 black wires? If 2 black wires are they smaller (not a thick) as the other two? If that is what you have the 2 small size black ones go to the timer motor (doesn't matter which small black goes to which timer motor terminal). The larger black or red goes to the L1 terminal and the white goes to the N terminal.

Hotpoint aquarius tumbledryer tdl30 not heating

Check that the breaker is fully on by cycling it all the way off, then back on again.
If problem persists, may be an open heating coil.

Check the thermal fuses / sensors mounted on the top exetrior of the heating chamber and also the heating element. Both accessible from the rear of the machine.
