Here is the 300Watt power pack manual with detailed setting instructions
Replacement parts are not available for Power pack or timer

Couple things to remember:
Power pack has to have correct number of lights
For example, you need 15 - 20Watt bulbs
15 x 20 = 300 Watts for 300 Watt power pack
If you have fewer bulbs, the bulbs will burn out quickly and power pack will fail
When bulb burns out, replace as soon as possible, or other bulbs will be overpowered and then more bulbs burn out

Up-vote if this helped. Thanks for the feedback.

I have a Malibu 300 watt ML300rtw transformer for outside lighting. The timer stopped moving and when I took it apart the small plastic gear was worn down and it was not turning the timer. Is there...

I don't know any site selling power pack gears.
Maybe ebay has gears or sells used power pack.

Easiest thing might be buy cheap plug-in timer, set power pack to override, and plug power pack into cheap timer.

Intermatic does not sell the timer module separately, or the gears.

I lost power to my house. How do I re-set the timer so the lights will come back on?

Turn the dial one or more revoultions, until the pointer points to the current time of day. It should then control the lights at the times you have set.

Timer stops at on and off trips and doesn't turn on or off

The clock motor has gotten weak and now it is overheating and will not recover.
There are no replacement clock motors.
To buy more time with old power pack, purchase cheap plug-in timer, set power pack to override, and then plug power pack into cheap timer.

Worked fine until I tried to change the on/off time of the lights. Now the timer does not move around. I have unplugged it and plugged it back in but still does not work. How do I fix it? ML300RTW

Check to see if you are getting power at the outlet. Sometimes GFCI receptacles will trip with very little provocation. Also, remove the trips and re-install them, as you may have inadvertently jammed one between the dial and the case, causing the dial not to turn Needle nose pliers make it an easy job to remove and replace the pins. You should be able to turn the dial easily.
Also, if you tried to install a trip in a slot close to the current time, it's possible it may have jammed the mechanism.

I have a 300 watt Malibu transformer to run 4 step lights on a patio. the wires from the step lights go through conduit under patio and all come out under some steps at the house. So I have 4 sets of wires...

Take one cable to the x-former to the 4 sets, then Splice all the wires (5 in one nut and 5 in the other) together. Then connect the one set at the x-former. Don't worry too much about the 10 ft issue. It will work fine.

Trouble w/Intermatic outdoor timer

I'm not sure what you mean by green and red sticks. But monitor it to see if the time is keeping accurate time. It sounds like the timer motor is not operating right.
