It sounds like the flood protection system has been activated. This is most likely due to water in the bottom of the dishwasher (under the washing compartment) or it could be due to a faulty float or float switch.

The first thing to do is check the float inside the dishwasher. It's the dome/mushroom shape plastic part in the bottom of the wash compartment. Have a feel around under the dome and check there isn't anything trapped underneath it (maybe cutlery or a build up of waste). If something is stuck in there, simply removing it should be enough to get you running again.

If it's clean underneath try pushing the dome down gently in case it's just stuck in the up position. If it pushes down, lift it up and down a few more times, clean underneath it and make sure it drops down on it's own when you lift it and let go. If it falls freely, you're good to go.

If there's nothing under the float and it moves up and down freely, next check for water in the bottom of the washer. To do this, tilt the washer forwards then backwards to about 20 degrees. Obviously, if it's under-counter you'll need to pull it right out before doing this. If you see a pool of water on the floor then you have water leaking into the bottom of the washer!

There are several possible causes of this - some are simple and easy to correct - but you should do these checks first, then post back here for further assistance.

Please rate my solution if you find this helpful. Thanks.

You mean you car can run only forward...?
If so the water pump has nothing to do with it.
The problem is the transmission is worn out.

Good luck

1983 Johnson outboard . Model J25TECTE. Runs Forward/Reverse. Shift rod connection OK. Shift in neutral it runs in reverse. Do I need to change something in the gear case section?

you have removed the leg to replace the water pump impeller
the leg has the selector rod for the forward and reverse action
as the direction selection is a simple dog that moves forward or back to connect the spur gears and it was working before you pulled the leg off , then I am thinking that when the leg was reassembled that the selector was in a wrong position and now you are only moving it in one direction neutral or reverse instead of the 3 positions forward neutral reverse
nothing else can change except where the rod connects in the leg

How many hours should be programmed in for a 16,000 gallon pool?

In the absence of information to the contrary, longer is better. If you can run 24/7 all the better. Your filter will clean your water and your chlorinator will keep a constant supply of chlorine going into the pool.

I suggest you use stabilizer (Cyanuric Acid) in your pool ... the proper level is between 50 and 80 ppm. The Cyanuric acid protects the newly made chlorine from the effects of the UV from the sun.

How much water are you moving per hour? In a perfect workd, you will have a 8 hour turn over, i.e. your pump will move the 16,000 gallons in and out of the pool in 8 hours or less. The more swimming that is going on the longer you should run the pump ... again in the absence of information to the contrary.

Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

Removing a 1994 buick century v6 water pump

You may need to move some things aside from the passenger side front of engine bay to see water pump pulley. Remove drive belt. Remove Water pump pulley (forward, front of engine). You should now see the bolt hold the water pump to the housing remove bolts and water pump should come right out.

D 3100 continues to pump out. Program stops and program button flashes

We have just fixed our Asko 3100 dishwasher. You need to undo the screws attaching the unit to the side cabinets. Pull dishwasher out and tilt forward to drain. Put towels down as lots of water. Machine seems ok now and running on a cycle.

Hover washing machine drum not moving

Does the prroggram go forward and give supply to the drum motor after the water loads and the level sensor detects,
If so the motor is faulty but if there is no voltage you must see if the inputs of the water level sensor is allowing the program to move forward . If however the motor runs on manual mode/spin, then the fault can be the level detector or the program controller.

The dish washer draining pump keeps going and water dose not come on

Tmachine is probably in flood sense mode. Tip it forward onto a towel and see if water runs out from the base. If so be careful not to flood the house, but empty the base carefully and run the machine. Check that it does not overfill again if it does there may be a sensor or water valve proble. Good luck

Asko d3120 flashing coffee cup

I had to slide the dishwasher forward (undercounter installation)and tip it forward as far as possible. Water leaks onto floor, but then the internal controller seems to reset and the ASKO now works normally again. What kind of idiot would design a control module that does not incorporate a power-off interlock? FAIL FAIL FAIL - Bad, ASKO, Bad. Go to your room.
