Try raising the front legs. This will shift the weight of the doors rearward.

Leveling the refrigerator so that the doors close easily is one of the most important ways of getting the doors to work properly. Here is a link to a Profile/Artica Service Manual Go to page 24 through 26 where the manual explains what you need to do to get the doors to open and close properly. If you have questions I will be here to answer any questions you may have, Thank You Sea Breeze

Ge profile artica refrigerator door will not close

clip on bottom of hinge is worn or broken had mine replaced. magnetic seals are not strong enough to hold the door closed on their own. Original problem was the magnets were too strong so the clip on the bottom hinge was added.

Sounds like the door isn't closing properly and the light is staying on heating things up. Remove the light bulb and be sure the door closes all the way. Then see if it cools down in a couple of hours.

GE Profile freezer door problem

I wil let you know of things you can do to solve this.
This happens because the refrigerators of today are air tight, the fresh food door pushes the air into the cabinet as it closes and the air has no place to go but up the air vent into the freezer and "pops" open the freezer door. First thing is make sure the freezer door is capable of closing properly and is not rubbing or catching anywhere. I sometimes add a washer or 2 to the center hinge under the freezer door so it doesn't rub anything. Put a little Vaseline ( or food grade silicone lubricant ) on the hinge side of the seal. I then raise the front of the refrigerator so that the front of the refrigerator is a little higher than the back of the refrigerator. Never level a fridge with a level. Once you have the door closing properly and front slightly higher than the back...let the fresh food door close from 90 degrees on it's own and the freezer door may "pop" open a little but will close again on it's own...and stay closed once all is set up properly. We see this more often now and have no trouble with the door staying open again after setting up the refrigerator properly.

Hope this helps, Thanks Sea Breeze

On my GE Profile side by side the Fridge side the door will close and then pop open. The door has been making a clicking sound when opened. When it pops open it does not close again.

This can happen if the door gasket is not seating properly. If it is deformed you can correct this by pouring boiling water along the deformed area, then closing the door and keeping it closed while the gasket cools and sets. Please check first that it has been correctly installed, there are screws and a bracket behind the gasket. Another problem could be the alignment of the door. It is possible to adjust alignment on the hinges. One other thing is to raise the front "feet" so that the fridge slightly leans backwards.

GE Profile Arctica Side-by-Side Refrig PSC23MGMB IS WAY TOO COLD!

it sounds as if the ice door is not closing properly. Check the little rubber door seal to see if it is sealing properly. If not try a hair dryer to soften it. Otherwise you have to buy a door kit.
