Check the cable first, and set computer to a lower resolution to test the display.

You need to ensure first that is not a problem with the video adapter, as this can cause shiny pictures as in description , in a repair shop we would test the monitor on a different computer.
If you have an alternative computer connect to the screen an test it.
If not try at least to lower the screen resolution and check if you have same problem using different graphic modes.
This is a must if you want to troubleshoot the problem, use display properties window to change resolution.
If it does not depend on the computer then is the main board (3 in picture)
Here is a general diagram for lcd monitor:

The board must be tested, probably a capacitor or an IC has blown and is in need for replacement.
You can contact LG in your country to get spare parts, or better to find an authorized repair shop in your area.

My HP omni 100 all in one has vertical lines on pictures only, how do I fix this?

In most cases, stationary lines mean the screen is failing. If there is flickering, the LCD cable or a connection could be the problem. If the screen is normal brightness, the inverter is most likely not the cause.

It may only show up only on pictures because they are the only images with solid blocks of color.

My lg lcd got a pink vertical line on its right hand side and it is getting bright day by day .my lcd is LG FLATRON L177WSB. is any solution pls get me out of dis ..................

What you have is a row of "stuck" pixels. Do a google search for a utility that will "repair stuck pixels" I have used them with very limited success. Your chances are better if it is just one or two but you have whole row. That says to me it's a bad transistor somewhere.
Here is a video that shows how the 'unsticking" process works with a web link.

You are probably looking at buying a new screen.

Does leaving pfictures constantly showing on tour computer harm the computer?

Not if it is a TFT/LCD flat screen. They do not suffer from screen burn. Older CRT and plasma screens do suffer from screen burn from stationary images on screen for long periods of time.
So you should be ok if it is a TFT display

I have an LG flatron w2043t monitor. there is many small dark spot in the lcd display

if the screen is old or has been neglected before, maybe the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is starting to bug out. I had the same problem with a flatscreen LCD television some time back, and there was green parts all over the place. im afraid that if this is the case, the only solution i know of is to purchase a new screen. Good luck!

Laptop screen is totally blank as a duster with magnet was used to wipe the screen by erros

It is highly unlikely that using the magnetic duster could damage a LCD screen except putting scratches on the surface of the screen. There is nothing in a LCD screen that can be affected by a magnet. A magnet will affect a CRT monitor because a magnetic field will affect/deflect the electronic beams that hit the color phoaphorus dots on the screen.

You could have a defective screen - a defective inverter or a CCFL lamp.
To determine if you have a LCD screen or video card problem, read this and follow the instructions.

Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom:
  • Screen flashs on red/pink and off.
  • Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal.
  • Picture flickering with dim display or appear black.
  • Picture flickering on and off.
All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp

Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power it up, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight.

Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.

LG Flatron monitor remains in Power Saving Mode

Sounds like an issue with a memory card or pci card not properly in place. Try opening up the sytem, then make sure each card is properly inputted in it's slot. This may cause the the monitor to show power saving mode especially if the memory is not properly placed.
Thanks
